I ordered pork makchang, and when I told him I was in the wrong place because he gave me beef makchang, he smiled and said that pork makchang is not served in the US, so I just ate the seasoned ribs and it was too salty so I couldn't eat it. So what is it on the menu for and what is its purpose? I don't usually leave reviews, but even after a few weeks, it doesn't seem to be the case, so I'm leaving a review. Jiyong’s ribs are full of questions. It would have been okay if the ribs were delicious....

Forcing tips is crazy. Lady up front was pressuring us to pay 30% plus tips because it was a bbq place. Never coming back here again.

I paid $120 for lunch special for 3 people. These are all horrible dishes. Burned Kalbi and terrible pork dishes. What a waste of money here! We are the only people in the restaurant. No wonder!!

Barbecue was served cold. They won’t let you pack the leftover side dishes saying they can’t risk food poisoning but other korean restaurants have no issues like that. Cold noodle was not cooked well, felt like rice cake. While writing down the tip amount, a rude korean server woman said ‘you can just circle the tip amount’ in a very pressuring vibe. Their tip suggestions are also wrong as they probably calculated it including tax. Not worth visiting. Go to other kbbq places.
