Thank you for always having excellent service and such delicious food. My husband loves Tang Maru and today I wanted to surprise him with one of his favorite spicy pork belly. There was a mistake in the order, but they immediately brought it home hot. Thank you, thank you. We love you.
The serving staff was friendly, and while the interior is a bit old and worn, it has a nostalgic charm. However, it can get a bit noisy in the evening due to customers drinking. I always order the medium or large gamjatang, and the portion is huge with an incredibly rich and flavorful broth. If this place was near me I would eat it once a week. In general I don’t believe in going back to restaurants when traveling for work because there are so many good ones out there. Tang Maru is one I will return to! The spicy squid was amazing. Unexpectedly, it had udon-type noodles, which were a nice touch. Also had the rice cake soup, which was very good.
