Worst experience ever with the lady owner. She is the most low class owner!!!!!! Any part timer will do much better customer service than her! How does she have those kind of attitude to her customer that gave her business? 🙄 very interesting owner. If there is left over and customer is asking for a Togo box. Please dont throw or give attitude just because we didn't read your mind 😁If you didn't tell us there is extra charge for Togo box how should we know from the beginning? We cant read your mind lady! Be kind your customers that gives you business before you get bankrupt from your poor low class customer service 😉!

Every time I visit, the food is consistently clean, flavorful, and satisfying. The couple who run the counter are always so kind and welcoming. it really adds to the experience. No matter how many times I eat here, I never get tired of it. This place has that rare combination of great taste, warm service, and reliability. A true favorite

U-Chun is one of a few food stalls located within the H-mart Korean supermarket in the Little Ferry plaza. This is my husband's go-to spot, and it's easy to see why. Each of the stalls kind of have their own niche, and U-Chun firmly occupies the soup and stew sector of Asian/Korean food. Most of their menu options are served on a hot plate or stone bowl, which is meant to keep your food hot and bubbly as you feverishly blow on and consume your meal.
Placing an order is a cinch, even for non-Koreans who can ask for menu items by number. Hang onto your receipt afterwards because it'll have your order number. An automated voice will helpfully announce ready orders (by restaurant name and order number) over the loudspeaker so you don't have to hover in the immediate vicinity.
Given the number of items on their menu and how limited their space is, it's impressive they can turn out items as well and as quickly as they do. So far, we've tried the bulgogi bibimbap, with is topped with a sweet soy marinated meat and meant to be mixed with veggies and an optional gochujang sauce serving. It's decent, though I have a pet peeve about hot stone bibimbaps that don't achieve the crunchy burnt rice bottom. I liked far better the spicy chicken stew, which is chock full of tender braised chicken and tender potatoes in a fiery stew. It's intensely flavorful and sure to clear up any sinus issues in a few bites.

Came to try the Kimchi Pancakes and they didnt disappoint. Super flavorful and portions were on point. I love me some nice portions especially when the food is good. Super friendly staff. Yes they get fairly busy but it is inside the H Mart. So a little patience will be worth it when you bite into the delicious meals.

After shopping at the H-Mart. I decided to stop at U chun for some food before I went home. I'll keep it short and simple. If I could have that bulgogi dish everyday I really would. Plenty of places to sit and the staff were friendly and accommodating. They have many dishes to choose from. I will definitely try one of the noodles dishes on my next stop.

This was my first time coming to an Hmart in Little Ferry. I got the news that there was a food court here, so I came excited. I came across U Chun. There photos and prices seemed legit and promising to what I wanted. I decided to go for a combo, which is around $26, I would have say, not worth it again.
The food was tasty, especially the bulgogi, with the sweeten taste of it, the soup was mildly flavorful. The sides dishes were very minimal which made it impossible to share, let alone with even just 2 people. The portions are minuscule. They were nothing like what the imaged portrayed. I felt ripped off from what I paid for, besides, the rice portion as well was also very small.
Customer Satisfaction/Service was nonexistent. The man running the register made us feel like we were wasting his time. We were confused on what we wanted to order at the beginning and barely gave us any options or help.
The atmosphere of the place, it’s technically apart of the Hmart, so nothing so special, I would say, they do keep the dishes very clean which was delighting.
Overall, this restaurant is not a place to seek out but rather to avoid. I was extremely disappointed with what I got and what the food was portrayed in the image like mentioned. Even called a “combo”, it’s not shareable.

My review is based on the one dish I tried which was #17 Ojinguh Dolsotbap. My first bite was the edge of the fried egg. It was delightfully crispy and infused with plenty of wok hei ❤️. The squid was tender and fresh, not overly chewy. The dish overall was packed with flavor and the spiciness was just right. U chun surpassed my expectations for a small stall inside of H-mart.
Food is OK. The lady taking orders is very rude. She yelled at me when I was ordering. Unbelievable.

Food used to be good. Sadly because of inflation, their price went up significantly. It used to my lunch to go place. Last time I order take out, they even forgot to put the sauce for bibibam which is unacceptable.

Insect was found from the soup. Asked owner about it and owner mentioned she was not sure how the bug was found from the food and kept arguing instead of saying sorry. I wasnt even asking for refund but she just kept yelling at us and throwing random receipt on the table that this was my refund but when i checked the credit card statement, i didnt get refund. Take a good look at the food when you eat.
