“Soup flight” might be one of my favorite culinary phrases, so I knew I had to visit The Soup Bar. Everything was so delicious, and I was lucky enough to visit on a day when my favorite soups were on the menu. I tried Wild Mushroom, which was one of the best I have ever had, Crab Bisque, and Split Pea With Ham. They were all flavorful and perfectly seasoned. The soups were served at the perfect temperature, steaming hot but not too hot to eat. Everyone was so friendly, and the space is so cute. I will be back!
Went here because of JL jupiters video. Once I entered I was greeted by a frantic woman behind the bar saying they close at 4 (it was 2pm) how could she help me? I asked how long for a table as the 5 tables available were occupied. She replied I can order to go because the tables haven’t received their food yet. I walked out and came back in to order to go because I was set on the food for lunch. I ordered and watched a mess unfold before me. The waiter used her bare filthy hands to pull salad from a container to plate food for the tables then touching her face & rubbing her nose. They talked about the people sitting at tables right in front of us. Asked people for tips when they were checking out & over all were discombobulate. Nobody had on gloves!!! The kitchen was a MESS! It’s clear they weren’t ready for what was to come following the video. I probably will never return because they were rude and unsanitary. My crab cake was burnt & so was my bread. & my bill was $60 for take out lunch.

Walked in , lady behind the counter (long brown hair glasses and loud) very rude and unprofessional …. I’m talking to the waitress about my order and she screams out it’s too chaotic in here with people talking , as I was the only one talking …. Ordered the crab cake grilled cheese …. The crab cake was cold …. Sent it back and they was annoyed cause I didn’t want a cold crab cake sandwich … never again … one and done !
Did not hold up to the bar on which the video I dumb to catch took interest in checking this place out. For starters drove 44 minutes to get there on this rainy Wednesday which I and my 20 year old son with the day/night off from work both said It's a soup day let's go check out that You Tubers post of Palmyra's Soup Bar. We drove from Williamstown to this little spot you can easily pass by. The inside is extremely tiny not meant for multiple tables, its crammy. The front door was right at our side. The paper menu had the few soups in pints and quarts...no price or offering of a cup or bowl. I had to ask? It was $10 for a cup of bisque. Sorry that is rather pricey for not being a 4 star restraunt like Franklinville Inn or Mona Lissia's so I was not content. I asked for unsweetened tea but they had none. So I asked for water with lemon. No lemon no straw no ice just a tall plastic cup of water. My son got the same. We both agreed to share the crab cake grilled cheese sandwich that is currently priced at $18. The bisque came out def had to add pepper and salt to it but it was cooler than room temperature. Not impressed and I am not one to ask for anything to be nuked. So I get what I am being given. The bread came out well delighted at least it was toasty warm then Oh HELL NO besides it that bright yellow nightmare from my childhood that's a molecule away from being considered plastic....Margarine!!!! Yikes Eww Ughs...and probably the reason why what could of been a great outstanding sandwich like the Crabcake grilled cheese came out partially burnt...I saw another customer who came in and ordered the same had asked the server to let the cook know she wanted her's done on the light side. He said back it's from the grill and the butter. WAIT! WHAT!??? Nah homees you must be using that cheap margarine crap outta the tub and not any stick butter that good cooks and real Chefs use. Only real butter would burnt a grilled sandwich of any kind if ypu have the heat temp to high, you left it unattended or Your using that nasty margarine on it. At a total for 2 cups of bisque with one crab cake sandwich (we shared) total 38 plus tip $10=$48...no drinks no straws no to go left overs. It was a one time learning experience, these You Tubers must be getting paid to rave about places you should not be spooning or forking your hard earned money over. Go to places that have the ambiance, greet you like your a guest, and have you leaving feeling you made a right choice. That You Tuber Juniper owes this mom and son lunch out on him. Ps (to him ) I will pick the place

Probably deserving of a 5, but held back just a bit because they were sold out of most. Which is really a great thing for them. Got the shrimp bisque and the stuffed pepper soups. They were both FABULOUS! I will definitely be back and much earlier in the day. 4.5 stars earned

What can I say about this little hidden gem in Palmyra other than GO!! As soon as I walked in, the aroma of fresh ingredient permeated the air. The soups are just incredible. Home made tasting and delectable, as was the crab cake Mac and cheese. I enjoyed every bite. The owners are charming and so welcoming to everyone that walked in the door. It’s an old school family place that serves up some delicious food.

Stopped by looking for a good selection of soup other than your normal 1-2 choices.there were 5-6 different varieties as well as some great sandwich options. I had the creamy mushroom soup and the crab cake grilled cheese sandwich. Everything is made from scratch and believe me Ed does not skimp on the crabmeat absolutely no fillers. This is my new go to place for soup and sandwiches.

We were at the Wenonah Farmers Market today, stopped by The Soup Bar’s tent and I’m so glad we did! We had a delicious Cream of Wild Mushroom soup! The best soup ever! We also had a wonderful crab cake! We would definitely eat there again! Hope to see them again soon!

I’ve had The Soup Bar cater two holidays for me over the past 6 months and I can’t recommend them enough! The food is always delicious, pricing is very fair, portions are HUGE, and I actually get to enjoy my guests. A win/win for all. I whole-heartedly recommend them.
