Went there today on my lunch break and was kinda disappointed! I asked for bread I was told they didn’t have none by the girl ringing me up but she asked the guys and he said “yes it is it’s right there.” ( he pointed to the loaves of bread and they normally give some type of rolls or cut bread) I had to ask for what I was looking for. Then she didn’t change her gloves when she was getting it mind you she was touching everything before I walked in and was still touching everything. Food safety should be priority when working with food! Unfortunately I will not b back and I actually loved tht place!

I was in the area and decided to stop in at the Soup Bar—and wow, what a find! The building gives off a cozy small-town vibes. I ordered the grilled cheese and roasted tomato soup, and it was absolute perfection. The soup came out piping hot and bursting with flavor, perfectly complementing the crispy, golden grilled cheese. You can tell everything is made with care. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this place is a must-try. Comfort food done right!

This a small town eatery with delicious food. You can eat in or take out. I enjoyed eating in today and conversing with Amanda as she made my grilled cheese crab cake sandwich which was absolutely amazing. The soups are all so good and my dad had crab bisque which he loved and he added the bread was delicious along with the soup. My hubby isn’t a crab or soup guy but he loved the beef sliders well done for his liking but not dry. Brandon was very helpful and friendly. Don’t miss out on this delicious food. We will be back

Went here with my family and was met by a very friendly staff behind the counter churning out the soup. We decided to try all of them.

Favorites were the mushroom and the crab soup. All of them were hot and fresh; you could tell they put a lot of heart into the soups.

Definitely give it a try

“Soup flight” might be one of my favorite culinary phrases, so I knew I had to visit The Soup Bar. Everything was so delicious, and I was lucky enough to visit on a day when my favorite soups were on the menu. I tried Wild Mushroom, which was one of the best I have ever had, Crab Bisque, and Split Pea With Ham. They were all flavorful and perfectly seasoned. The soups were served at the perfect temperature, steaming hot but not too hot to eat. Everyone was so friendly, and the space is so cute. I will be back!

I tried to go and support a small business, and the lady at the counter was not very welcoming. She seemed overwhelmed, and a little snappy. So I left.

My wife and I have been here a few times now and it's always an experience. We love it. The food is fantastic. We always get a soup flight and every one has been very flavorful. I've been to some fancy restaurants and this soup is up there with the best of them. We also got a patty melt earlier today, and it was perfectly cooked and delicious. Bread was fresh and warm. We were both full and satisfied for like $30. The staff are kind and attentive.

I've also gotten takeout soups from here. They freeze really well, and since they can be heavy (not a criticism!), I'll sometimes dilute them and a quart can stretch pretty far. Really nice to have a couple of these in the house if I don't feel like cooking.

As a heads up, the physical space is very small and the furniture is basic. Drinks are limited to cans of a couple kinds of soda. This is not a fancy dining experience. But it is good, local, and one-of-a-kind. Highly recommended.

On a trip to visit my good friends in New Jersey that love to find new niche places to eat with us we stumbled into this diamond in the rough.
Tucked away across the street from a school and with neighbors on both sides we pulled up on a cold and windy day to a small house converted into a restaurant. 5 tables and a wrap around bar that was used as a catering table for large orders (probably due to superbowl weekend) was the entire seating capacity. Chef Ed, Annie, and 2 helper/ servers were moving at a serious pace when we walked in and it was a endearing scene for me, a tired culinary professional, to see the chaos from front of house and see the mechanics of the operation on display.
We took our time to piece together our orders between the four of us so we could maximize our tasting. We ended up with an impressive amount of delectable items. We tried all the bisque they offered: crab, lobster, and tomato, and eqch hit the approval of excellence. Followed quickly with the chili (OMFG GOOD), and the wild mushroom (Somehow the BEST).
We then proceeded to order mains, crabcakes, a crabcake grilled cheese, and a patty melt for me. Every detail of.the plate was paid great attention to. The coleslaw was extremely fresh, the tartar was handmade and the crab cakes were made that morning and the taste reflected that love. The patty melt was exactly what I showed up for, caramelized onions over melt cheese with a hand smashed patty on sourdough rye. Fucking incredible.
To the team at The Soup Bar. Keep it up, You're doing great and thank you for the hospitality.
