I've tried quite a few ramen places, and normally try to avoid the mall food courts, but this is honestly my second favorite ramen spot. I haven't had a bad experience here yet.

My husband and I have eaten at plenty of ramen restaurants. We rank all ramen against our favorite place and not many places are comparable. Menya Sandaime is right up there with some of the best ramen we’ve had. This location may be in a mall food court, but it truly slaps and doesn’t miss. Try the miso ramen, spicy or regular. Life changing.

The food is similar to their original restaurant in Fort Lee. I absolutely loved their tonkotsu and Karacuchi ramen broth whenever I visit Fort Lee, so when I saw their Paramus location, I had to give it a try. This is far from the typical "mall court food" that people may usually experience. The ramen was ordered online and packaged perfectly. I definitely recommend the Menya restaurants as some of the top ramen spots in NJ.

The best Ramen ever! Although it’s in a mall’s food court), I am definitely coming again just for this even if I don’t come in to shop! I had the chicken ramen and can’t wait to come back for it again. I am sure I will be craving for it soon.

I usually go to the one in Fort Lee, but I have tried here and it is still great. I like the karakuchi ramen broth here and side dishes espsecially the buns and gyoza.

In the rare times I’m craving ramen from a mall food court, I trust Menya for it.Maybe that doesn’t sound like a glowing review but I can’t help but compare this with the original standalone Menya Sandaine in Fort Lee!But at least my usual favorite the spicy karakuchi tastes similar enough!I’m not quite providing full stars because the presentation matters, and it’s hard for me to feel fully satisfied by ramen in a takeout container. In summary, I’d usually prefer the standalone location but sometimes you take what your schedule allows.

Absolutely delicious! I would definitely eat here again. Clean and neat presentation for the food and restaurant. Sensitive to my dietary restrictions/ and food allergies. 10/10 would highly highly recommend!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian Miso soup!! I have to try it next time.

Dietary restrictions: They were very sensitive to my uncommon food allergies/intolerances. Very clear communication with the staff/chefs to guarantee no cross contamination. Cleanliness was an immediate 10/10 as I had a feeling they would be easy to order from due to them caring so much about the restaurant, therefore my food was safe for me to consume without hassle.

12/4/23This Menya Sandaime is in the food court of Garden State Plaza. The other location I’ve been to, is inside the HMart in Little Ferry. Go there instead! But if you are already in GSP then either go to the next stall and have any of the Chinese noodle soups, they are all good, or go around to Tojo Kitchen upstairs.2 stars because service was ok. It’s the food court so it’s loud and crowded.Curry Ramen was horrible, and I love curry and ramen. It smelled like curry but had no flavor… how is that possible??? Curry by definition has a ton of flavor…. And the pork was a bit chewy.I had ramen here because we were running late for a movie, so this was the closest and fastest spot. I will give them a try again for the more traditional flavors. Maybe curry is just not their thing…

Im a ramen fanatic. I have tried so many ramen spots all over NJ and this one was very dissapointing. I had the shoyu ramen and the pork buns. The pork buns were good, but the ramen was probably the worst ramen I ever had. The noodles are closer to angel hair noodles than real ramen. And the broth flavor is not what shoyu ramen is supposed to taste like. It was very bad, like if they dropped a ton of garlic on it. The “kids ramen” was also so bad that my kid barely touched it. I do not recomend this place.

Located in inside the Westfield Mall foodcourt.Tried cup oodong/shrimp tempura.Oodong broth was bit on the sweet side which I was not fond of and 4 shrimp tempura was bit soggy inside but overall it wasn't too bad. The least busiest vendor, could it be the price, $17.

lots of veggies and noodles underneath the sliced pork. everything tasted very good, even pork belly was sliced too thin and cooked crispy.
