I live in NY, Long Island as a matter of fact and due to business in the area I had three opportunities to enjoy the pizza at Savinos. All I can say is that New Jerseyans do not know how good this little place is. The crust is perfectly thick or thin, the crust is crisp crunchy and supportive of any and all toppings you may put on. The sauces, cheeses and add-ons are as fresh as they are high quality. The dough is made in house and taste like good old fashioned pizza should taste...
It is basically takeout Pizza Italian food.
A few tables for eating a slice but other than that definitely not a first date restaurant

I gave it all the stars for atmosphere, but you have to understand this is a place where you pick up your pizza and you leave. There are two high tables, no table service, just a straight up grab and go pizzeria. And. It's. Perfect.
