Not a great lunch. The apps were ok, the karaage is not Japanese style, but just standard fried chicken pieces and overcooked. This is also not Japanese ramen. The noodles are more like overcooked angel hair pasta rather than the chewy ramen that it should be. The tonkatsu broth also lacked real flavor. Service was friendly but really slow.

Great food and an awesome vibe. The ramen was delicious, and the anime décor is amazing. The life-sized Vegeta from Dragon Ball Z is a standout and makes the experience even better. Definitely a spot worth visiting.

I was pleasantly surprised how great the sushi was. I didn't expect it from a place that's on a major retail highway. We had a variety of types of fish and they were all really fresh.
We got on the early side at 5:30PM on a Saturday night. By the time we left the line had to have been 30 deep. I guess I now know why.

The ramen offerings are solid overall. The broth leans a bit salty, but the noodles are excellent. Tempura quality can vary, yet taken as a whole, it’s still a very enjoyable dining experience. Price is reasonable.

I have to agree with the other reviews, the lady at the front of the cashier is extremely rude! She completely ignores you. The restaurant was empty on a Saturday and I see why. Word of advice the way you treat your customers is how you receive business. Will not be coming back. Chicken teriyaki is tough and chewy. Broth tastes like it’s microwave ramen.

We ordered a sushi combo and substituted the spicy tuna roll for a regular tuna roll. We were told this would cost an extra $2.00, which I thought was odd since the spicy tuna roll is usually more expensive than the regular one— but fine.
When the combo came out, it still had the spicy tuna roll. We sent it back, and the waiter returned to tell us that it would actually be an additional $2.00 because we changed it to a regular tuna roll. Not wanting to argue, I just said “OK,” but I definitely wasn’t happy.
I also ordered the chicken teriyaki, which was rubbery and didn’t taste like any teriyaki I’m used to. Our appetizer never came, and when we asked about it, all the waiter could do was apologize. At that point, that was all they could offer.

The Dragon Ball-Z and Naruto figurines set the ambience, along with the dark woods and low light. Food was nice- pork katsu was crispy and hot, but slightly dry. Sushi bento was decent but fish was not amazing (note to self: this is Hwy 17 in Jersey). Staff is friendly and price is reasonable.
I always order from here whenever I’m sick—it’s the only thing I can stomach, and it never disappoints. The Shio Beef Ramen hits every single time. Everything is always packed neatly and with care, and the flavor is unreal. The egg that comes with the ramen is easily the best egg I’ve ever had. So comforting, and just ridiculously good.
