Maia's Bakery is a fantastic local spot. The food is delicious, beautiful, and there are zero misses. The Detroit style pizza has a twist, like the Argentinian Detroit style pizza with onions, cheese, and a sourdough crust. The Bacon Egg n Cheez on a Baguette is a treat with meaty bacon and a transcendentally crispy baguette. The Quiches (spinach AND ham + gruyere) are go-to items with a crust that has integrity. The BLT on Milk Bread is a solid banger. The Apple Crumble Pie is the best imaginable version. The Pain au Chocolat is freakishly crispy and flaky. The chocolate croissant is delicious. The croissants are the best, very good and flaky. The blueberry scone is a favorite. The coffee is amazing, and the desserts are highly recommended. The sandwiches are divine even as leftovers. The pizza is better than most pizzerias. Everything is delicious, and the staff offers tastes. It is a wonderful local bakery and a favorite spot.
