I am exploring different food cultures. Saw ad on facebook for the weekend buffet. Booked for two. Got there early, they set me down and asked me to wait they were opening the buffet. They offered drinks, and opened on time. The staff was courteous and service was excellent. Large Indian clientele so food must be good and authentic. Great value !!
There was no one on the reception and we waited for about 10 minutes before someone showed up. Despite having a reservation, we were told that they didn't have that on the paper that the person was holding. They had a dinner buffet, which was not commensurate with the price that was charged. In top of that the food was cold and tasted average. They were short staffed even on a day such as this (valentine's day).
Absolutely fantastic dinner. There were 5 of us and we all loved our meals. The appetizers were delicious as well. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Amazing experience at the Kolkata Food Festival.. All the dishes took us back home and it was a truly enjoyable experience.
I was there earlier today with a group of friends for the Christmas special Bengali Food Festival. We were quite impressed by the menu selection. The food was not oily& spicy at all, hence even the kids enjoyed the food. The service was good. I wish the restaurant would be more spacious. Other than that I would highly recommend this place.
We booked and it was a Bengali food buffet which was mediocre at the best. At $30 pp the food was not great and the sweets were disappointing. No naan was included in the buffet and the drinks ordered were not good at all
This is our go to place for Indo-Chinese in the Parsippany area, great food, service and ambiance. Our favorites are the Hakka Noodles, Thai curries and Stir Fry vegetables.

Went there for lunch buffet over the weekend. Amazed by the service and food. Tasty food, variety of veg and non-veg options. Desert selection is also good.
Most importantly the staff is very nice. Would be going there again and again.

Went for bengali food festival and the service was really bad, most of the items are vanished from the table after sometime and took years to refill. They better be prepared for any food festivals in future.

We were at this restaurant today for the Bengali Food Festival to celebrate Durga Puja, a signature celebration in India and elsewhere for the Bengali community where religion and culture melts into a heady feeling coupled with enjoyment and gorging on food specially prepared for the occasion.
The menu, food and service were excellent with Bengali delicacies prepared and served in a joyous atmosphere.
The venue was a little crowded due to the uniqueness of this special event but everyone seemed to be enjoying the specialty dishes cooked with care by the chef evoking traditional Bengali taste and flavors. Well done !!!

Spice Route is our go to place for Indo Chinese , but they really surprised us by putting together a Bengali bouquet this weekend. The food spread was amazing , it was authentic and service was great. My favorite were different variety of fish dishes and veg Sukto. I met the Chef later and wished him well, also mention Mr Srikant, who goes above and beyond in his service to customers.

We tried the Dussehra weekend bengali dinner buffet at Spice Route Melange and it was fantastic! The buffet spread was lavish - fish fry, dimer devil, veg chop, chicken lollipop, aloo bhaja, fuchka, jhaal muri were starters, entrees were macher kali, katla macher jhol, chicken curry, kochi pathar curry, aloo fulkofir jhol, shukto, mixed vegetables, cholar daal, basanti pulao, chicken biryani and desserts were mishti doi in handi, sandesh and chum-chum. There was also daab er jal er shikanji. Each and every dish was delicious unlike most buffets where the food is average this was superb. Service was excellent too. We went with friends and were a larger group of 12 adults and 4 kids. We were easily accommodated and served very well. I wish they would prepare such a bengali food buffet more frequently quarterly or even monthly. Specially around festival seasons such as sankranti, poila boishak bengali new year and Durga Puja.
Parking: Plenty on free parking at the adjacent parking lot.
