I am glad they shut down/closed this location. One of the worst Bonchon's out there. A few times I visited this place, I was told by the staff that there is a long wait time (store was empty and no one was there, nor did I see any wait for pick ups!!!) or they are severely understaffed. It appeared that they had no intention of doing business. My family and I ended up going elsewhere.

JANUARY 2025 UPDATE - still have not received any resolution!
EDIT: Posted this review end of November '23 and still no resolution even after reaching out Bonchon.com as per store owner.
Although the cashier was friendly (left her a cash tip), the kitchen staff should pay attention to what's ordered (or perhaps the cashier should double-check the orders).
I placed an online order since I'm about 40 minutes away (had to meet with someone in the area). I assumed my order would be complete so I didn't unpack until I got home, was missing onion rings and it the napkins/utensils I requested.
I've ordered ahead from other locations (Fort Lee and Midland Park) and never had an incomplete order.

DO NOT ORDER OVER THE PHONE. Their service is non existent. The girl stated there was a 25 minute wait. I showed up 35 minutes later and it wasn't ready. So sat in my car for 20 minutes. I went in to the store 2 more times to check on my order. The last time I went in, I was told my order was never sent to the kitchen. I was told "don't worry it will only take 15-20 minutes." So 20 more than the hour I already waited. The girl at the front counter needs to go she is totally incompetent. The food is great though, just avoid this location until they learn how to improve their service.

28 minutes for one chicken strip order. Replaced pot stickers with fries. Did not ask if this was acceptable. Dirty floors and generally unkept restaurant.

Food is always good, but I rarely order here because it's just not worth the headache of trying to pick up the order when estimated ready times are inaccurate. Please hire more staff, I'm sure it's overwhelming for them.

This place really went down hill. I pre-order $130 worth of chicken to be picked up at a specific time and I end up waiting 40 min past the pick up time. I understand waiting can happen but why accept a pre-order if your not going to honor the agreed pick up time. Usually when it comes to franchises, as long as it makes money, there really is no incentive to do a better job. I will no longer support this business.

I ordered two mixed chickens yesterday. There was no problem with the ordering and picking up, but I couldn't believe who cooked the chicken. The plain chicken was just raw chicken that had no flavor at all and was fried without any seasoning. The 양념 chicken was just plain with barely any seasoning. I didn't expect Korean fried chicken and seasoning, but it didn't meet my expectations even 1%. This is not how they cook it. Not acceptable. I want my $35 refunded.

I ordered bulgogi and the rice is undercooked. I mean it crunch when you eat it. The pickled raddish is bland. Not good.

Thought I would give the place a try when I'm town looking for something to eat.
Ordered chicken bibimbap, pot stickers and beef bulgigu fried rice without cucumber due to allergies.
Was told it would be 10 mins.
40 minutes later, got the order, the fried rice did have cucumber on it. Was told it could be remade. Took my receipt to check what was ordered, confirmed I specifically asked for no cucumber, took my receipt to the kitchen for sone reason.. was told it would take 10 minutes to be remade.
Already hungry and having waited 45 minutes to get food, I declined not having any faith in the company to actually make the order correctly and in the time promised a second time.
I was told that I would be refunded both the cost of the fried rice and the tip provided as part of the order. As the receipt had been taken I have no idea if it was all refunded or not (it looks like some had)
I'm not sure if this was an off day, a bad branch, or all of the chain has such poor service.
I would have taken responsibility if it could not be made without cucumber for sone reason... But I specifically verified that it could before ordering.
Fortunately there are plenty of food establishments in the area ... I will know better next time

i just had the weirdest experience i’ve ever had at a restaurant. i placed an order at 11:40am for potstickers and rice. i get there at 11:52 & it’s still not ready, no problem! so im waiting for 10 mins & the worker comes over & said he doesn’t know if my food will be made. huh??? he says the workers are arguing in spanish & he doesn’t know what they’re saying but that they don’t want to make food. he apologizes & tells me i can wait 20 mins for the manager to get here or ask for a refund. so i wait 20 minutes and the managers still not there. i go back in and now another persons order is not being made. i ask for a refund and he tells me the manager promises to do it & for me to call back in a few days to make sure he processed my refund. the guy at the counter was really kind and respectful, but i just can’t believe this was my encounter. this was a first for me.
update: he came back out 5 mins after i asked for a refund & said he can have the food ready in 5 mins. it’s now been almost an hour of waiting for my food. im still asking for a refund because this is insane and unprofessional on their part. if they honor and process my refund, i will delete this review as i know things happen.
update # 2: Bonchon asked me to reach out to them to make this right. i did 5 days ago & never heard back. never going to this location again & i recommend you do the same.

I just placed my order, the chicken capsup comes well burnt, bitter, the rice was hard before, everything was good, please improve the food at least like before, and the place looks dirty for now, I won't order more.

I ordered ahead of time, and gave the place almost 2 hours to make the order. The person at the desk said 10 more minutes, and it took 25.
