“Marisa was kind enough to give us the booth & server we requested. She is an excellent manager. She stopped by quite a few times to see if all was going well, which it was. Bruno was our server & as usual, he was excellent. The only issue we had was the front desk. They didn't take the people waiting to check in in order & seemed oblivious to Marisa's instructions for our request. They left us standing by the wine cellar until they could figure out Marisa's instructions.”

“Listen I've tried pizza all over NJ this place absolutely hits different.. Not a thin pizza or a regular its a SQUARE pizza but do NOT get this confused with a Sicilian. Everything is made to order!!! We got a Chicken parm pizza with vodka sauce well done.... They told us 25 mins. Went to pick it up and was chatting with someone who seemed to be the owner. (Didn't ask) I said this is our first time ordering from you, she said your going to love this pizza. She then said I'm sorry it's taking so long with the ricotta... My mind intrigued I said for what, she said, going in the vodka sauce..... I wish I had a picture, but we absolutely destroyed it. Huge chunks of chicken cutlets as well! I recommend not to walk or stroll but RUN to get this pizza! Highly recommend and definitely didn't disappoint I will be back. Also got a list of their specials, which change weekly/biweekly as I was informed.”

“I was in the area and decided to stop in for a sub. My bf has been coming here for years and swears by this deli as one of the best around.This mom and pop deli is not much to look at from the outside.They have free parking out front with several spots they share with another business.Once inside you can see why they call this place The Parsippany Deli/ Emerald Gifts aka The Irish Deli.As soon as you walk in the front door, they have a glass counter that displays beautiful China from Ireland. They sell teas, marmalade, sausages, bacon, black and white pudding, Irish candies, also Brennan's bread.During the month of March they make and sell homemade Irish Soda Bread.As you make your way to the front counter you will meet owner Eddie, and Avril. They were both very friendly and told me about their business. Posted on the counter is their sandwich and salad menus.The Parsippany deli/Emerald gifts has been in business for 50 years, now I know why. Their prices are reasonable, and everything is homemade. They also do catering.They roast all their own meats like Roast Beef, Turkey Breast, and Baked Virginia Ham. I highly suggest getting a half of a sub. It’s as big as most whole subs.This place doesn’t skimp on their meats, just the opposite.When I got home and opened up my sub I was pleasantly surprised, and couldn’t believe how much meat was on it. It was probably one of the best Italian subs I’ve ever had and I’ve been all over for subs.I ordered their Italian Sub - Ham, Salami, Capocollo they call it Hot Ham, and Cheese. I got mine with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, mayo, oil and vinegar. It was really delicious. I wound up eating a half of a half and saved the rest for later.My bf ordered their Roast Beef n American Cheese Sub. The Roast Beef was cooked perfectly rare and piled on the sandwich with lettuce, tomato, oil and vinegar. He enjoyed it so much he ate the entire thing.I also ordered 2 of their homemade salads. Macaroni and Potato Salad. The macaroni was my favorite. It was rich and creamy.I highly recommend this place, you won’t be disappointed

“Popped in for a late lunch on New Year's Day and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of food! Firstly, don't judge the size of the venue because the menu is seven pages!! So many choices!! I had the most tasty, smooth and crunchy, sushi pizza!! I paired it with a healthy seaweed salad. My hubby enjoyed a tasty Miso Soup and Alaska Roll while listening to Abba's greatest hits in the background! What a fun venue! Cindy, our server was so friendly! A must visit when in the area!! Or drive from far away because it is worth it!!! And one more thing, very reasonably priced too!!!”

“If you don’t want to drive all the way to Newark for authentic Portuguese food, Tino’s is the place! The shrimp garlic is soooo good. Beef ribs, clams in garlic hit the spot. I’ve tried Portugalo BBQ and they don’t compare. If you want real, delicious Portuguese authentic flavors, go straight to Tinos BBQ & Grill.”

“If you want to eat traditional Mexican food, here you will find a good place with a great flavor, starting with molcajete in green sauce, it is delicious enchiladas de mole, the portions are excellent and of good quality, the service is excellent, very fast, and you end with a delicious dessert, a great place to eat. like at home and very clean above all I love this place and super reasonable prices I simply love this place”

“What did it take for our small wedding reception to be completely worry-free? Drew and The Fruited Plain Caterers! Having an outdoor wedding reception on October 19 on our back deck could have been "hit or miss" because of the uncertainty of the weather. But Drew connected us with the right rental company and the heated tent was AMAZING! With 25% of our guests being vegetarians we needed a caterer who could deliver deliciousness to all our guests. Drew totally hit it! We opted for a family style luncheon and got raving reviews on the quality of the food. From the first contact email 12 months ago, to the last dish put away on wedding day, we felt we were in great hands with a consummate professional. Drew was flexible enough to accommodate some of our special requests, and because we were dealing with the company owner, decision-making was straight forward. His servers were professional, efficient and friendly. My kitchen was probably cleaner after they left than it was before they arrived! And if all that wasn't enough, honesty and integrity were also a key aspect of our working with Drew. He caught a staffing level mistake on our final invoice and personally delivered a refund check for the amount we had overpaid. Now THAT's someone I will be working with again, and recommending without hesitation to all my friends!”

“Great place for dim sum. They have a wide variety of classics (like egg tart, chicken feet, fried pork buns, etc) and non-classics (like clams, shrimp, crab, mango sago, etc). Their prices range from $4.50 for a small dim sum to $12 for “chef” dim sum.

The service is fast. We came during brunch hours on a Sunday and even though there was a lot of people, we were instantly seated. And as soon as we got a table, the dim sum carts swung by right away. The servers can be a bit aggressive in insisting you take certain dishes (by placing them on the table before you’ve agreed to them), but as long as you say no they’ll take them away.

The inside is your typical Chinese dim sum restaurants with round tables and many dim sum carts running around.

The bathroom is clean and large with multiple stalls. It looks relatively new.

We parked in the lot outside and had no trouble finding parking.

There doesn’t seem to be good reception for AT&T here so we had some trouble navigating away after eating here.

“It was a baby shower hosted by the parents of the first time mother. The menu chosen by the father was selecting 90 percent of the delicious dim sum on themenu. We had every dish commonly enjoyed by families.

There were 30 tables with many young children all enjoying the food and the occasion. It was a wonderful celebration for new life, a new baby for expecting parents, grandparents, and family members and friends. The food, service, and the general happiness of the attending members was memorable.”

“If you are going to shop at Whole Foods, an Amazon Prime card is very useful. The card and Amazon app. while allow you to receive discounts and keep you informed of sales items. I shop at Whole Foodsfor specialty items and some fruits and vegetable. Mainly organic fruits that you do not peel like apples, strawberries, blueberries and pears to name a few. My other main reason for shopping here are the specialty especially in the cheese and bakery departments. They carry a lot of Keto/Paleo items which I am not interested in, as well as, an oat-milk/almond milk machine that makes them fresh. Next to the bakery they have a Naan bread display. The naan bread is made their on premise Tandoori oven. The store and parking area is never crowded when I shop. They usually have only one or two cashiers working during slow periods and a self check-out area. I never tried their deli, pizza station or acai bowel so I have no comment. If you do not have your own shoppin bags which I do, It will cost you 10 cents per bag.”

“We saw a sign for Wendy's off an exit. Now normally the restaurant is pretty close off the exit, this Wendy's was not. We were about to give up an find another restaurant, then we finally saw it. Signs a little misleading. But the food was good.Tge service was fast.”

“I came here to try this place out after seeing my friend come here the day before his birthday. I have never been. My wife and I came and had the hotpot and bbq together. The portions were amazing, things were super fresh and the taste was out of this world. I have never had this type of food before and not I am hooked and will be back. My wife who is Brazilian loves it too and that is good because if she loves it, it will be easy to return. Above all the staff was great and served us well. You will not go wrong eating here and I loved everything 100%. Can not wait to return!!!”
