Rajni Indian cuisine

We have been going to this place for years and the quality and service has been consistently sliding. It came to a head this past weekend. I will admit the girl at the front is doing all she can, she is managing phone + taking orders + payments for a rather large place with high volume of patrons. However the table service is incredibly poor. The A/C has not worked on two occasions we came to eat. They do not have ice for drinks. Ordered 4 parathas, came with just 3, had to wait even longer for the 4th. Asked for To-Go boxes - guy brought random boxes without thinking things through. Had to go back a second time for boxes this time came without lid....had to go back a third time for the lid. Bathrooms are filthy.

I went to the restaurant and had these - nethili fry, seeraga samba thalapakatti chicken biryani and mango lassi. Both the nethili fry and the biryani were amazing and one of the best food that I have had in NJ. The mango lassi though was a bit sour and was average at best. Overall I’m giving 4 stars because I value the food much more than dessert. The service was good and also the prices were cheaper than most Indian restaurants in the area. The one thing that the restaurant needs to improve upon is to provide air conditioning. Initial I had no problem without the ac but as I started to consume food, I began to sweat more. I would recommend ordering from there as opposed to having it there.

Authentic south Indian food. Best place to get biriyani varieties such as Hyderabadi, Amboor, Thalapakatti, etc..

Visited this place after a gap of one year ! I like the Thali here both veg & non veg. Service is very quick , you can get within 10 to 15 minutes on your table after you order the Thali .Before I tried Dosa also here, that was also good . There is another Indian restaurants Jashan located very close to this place but that not have Thali like this place offers . My suggestion is to upgrade the wash room section which looks very old and the dining area can be more decorative! Decrease the amount of rice in the Thali , if there is less spicy option available in the Thali . I like the papad in the thali which is typical South Indian papad , not the North Indian one like lizzat etc . If the fish fry of non veg Thali could be replaced with other kind of fish which are non smelly . Overall I always enjoy the food here since the portion is so large always bring back the leftovers!

I ordered Paneer65 and Corn pepper fry appetizers today. The quality and taste was not good. Paneer65 is very saggy and corn fry was not well cooked. I gave the feedback to the restaurant, their response was ‘ok’. It used run well but not anymore.

NO AC!! Avoid at all cost. Came to have lunch it’s 90 degrees outside no AC in restaurant.

Came in with high expectations…Giving 3 stars only for the soup that tasted good…food was kind of okay…But the service was too bad..The person who took orders missed the item we ordered.Too hot to stay inside (eating spicy food)..Doesn’t have air conditioning or even a proper fan…After the food was on table nobody even bothered to check about food or anything else..

I ordered on Uber Eats, drove all the way to the restaurant (20 mins) only to find out they canceled the order just because my order contained Ambur biryani. They canceled everything else in the order. I had to reorder everything and wait another 20 mins. What happened to calling and letting people know?

Chicken 65, 555, biryani are really good. This is tamilnadu style cuisine, we have also tried their Thalis and they were very delicious as well.

Curry leave shrimp was soggy; no water was served. But Biryani was very good with native taste.
