I ordered from here last weekend since I was craving a plantain sandwich. Whether you call this sandwich a patacon, jibarito or something else, it hits all the right notes when prepared right. I ordered my sandwich with chicken and it came with lettuce tomato and cheese. On their ordering platform, you can specify any exclusions or additions. I requested no mayo. My fiance ordered his patacon with pernil (roasted pork) and he also ordered the hot dog completo which was basically a loaded hit dog with beef and potato sticks and other toppings. He really enjoyed the hot dog, maybe even more than the patacon. I thought my patacon was good but it wasn't the best I've had. The chicken tasted like what one might put in a pastel en hoja, but it wasn't the flavor or texture I was expecting. It seemed more like leftover chicken they had from something else in the kitchen. I did really like their menu though. They have arepas, chimis, mofongos, all which I'd be interested to try at some point. I will aim to order again and perhaps try something else on the menu. 3.5 stars

Waited 30 minutes for a cachapa. The cachapa was cold and not the traditional Venezuelan form you expect a cachapa to be. Not a great experience.

Only ordered one item from there and I get it consistently. It's called the chicken cachapa and it's good.

My husband and I had the cachapas and guanababa drinks. I had the Cuban and he had ham and cheese. Both were very yummy. The corn cakes were perfectly sweet and moist with right amount of crispness. We will be back.
