DO NOT COME HERE!!!! If i could give 0 stars, I would. The food was terrible. No one wanted to touch their food. The horchata was good however. But the food was just dry and chewy. This is my first time ever writing a review because it was just that bad. Also the service wasn't the best. The lady brought out my side after 15 minutes of serving my main dish. Please stay as far away from here as possible.

I order a few things on the meun but the only thing that sucked was the CHURRASCO! Very bland not even salt or pepper on it.

Have been coming to La Posada for years, it has come a long way yet the food, specially the tacos remain delicious. My only issue is the newly hired wait staff, they're rude, condescending and very slow. The service was so awful that I had to cancel my order and leave. Please hire competent staff, I really enjoy the food and is a shame that a place with great atmosphere and delicious food will have less than competent wait staff.

Worst food ever in my whole life. I order enchiladas to go. Cold out of the fridge. No cheese. Just raw looking chicken. Very shameful. i cant believe i wasted money. Are these people even care about their customer. So disappointed wont be going there ever again.

This has to be the Worst Mexican restaurant that Passaic has to offer. I'm a giant foodie and I have to say Taco Bell is better then this place

Went there after 2 years with my family. First time I went , it was really good. Went there for the second time yesterday which was Christmas. Food was soooooooooooo tasteless . I never tried roce and beans that tasted like nothing. Food had no seasoning at all. Steak was bland. I had to put salt in the food to give it a little taste. Asked for water and the waitress told me they had no water. MY daughter ordered chorizo tacos and the waitress knew it was for her . She didn't even mention that the chorizo tacos are spicy. My daughter didn't eat it. I'm sorry but I had a really bad experience in there. And to top it off, they charge service fee. NEVER AGAIN !

Came here 2 years ago. I loved it. Tried coming back within the last 2 years and ever time they were closed. Ok, so it's Christmas Day, the kids and I wanted to eat. We called. They were surprisingly open! They apparently have remodeled the inside. Also remodeled they're gratitude fee. I don't appreciate restaurants including a "service fee" on parties smaller then 6. I'm unsure but in NY it's only legal on parties over a certain amount. The food wasn't like it was before. The service was ghosted. We had no space on the table being nothing was taken from it. Also, how does a restaurant NOT have water?! At all?! Never again!

The employees are sooooooo sweet, thou they don't speak much english while I was waiting for my food we had a great conversation and he still let me order even thou they where closing. I ordered a burrito and it was GREAT. they could work on their tacos but honestly everything else is so good I don't care much for the taco.

last night here was the worst experience we decided to come to this place to eat something After coming from the game at MetLife. we waited at least 30 mins for someone to come attend us after sitting down and when they did our waiter asked if we are ready to order when we haven't received any menu's. Once we were ready we were waiting for our waiter to come so he can take our order another 20 mins waiting, that's when my friend had gotten up to tell one of the workers there that we are ready we been waiting forever but he keeps disappearing. He came took our drink orders and food and had left. We didn't receive our drinks on time and we had waited another 20 mins for them to come . I understand he was a bit side tracked because of the amount of people there but we didn't get any chips and salsa to start off as usual when you go to a restaurant your either start off with bread or chip and salsa etc. Everyone got their food besides two of us and when it does come my ceviche had came drenched in lime completely it was hard to eat because of how sour it was and I had ceviche before and I know for sure it's not supposed to be sour on top of that the shrimp wasn't even cooked enough for me to eat i just decided not to eat it. tried ordering a side of rice and beans since I didn't really feel like finishing the ceviche of how sour it was it took him another 20 mins to put the order in that's when I was like forget it I don't want it anymore. On top of that My little sister had ordered the steak and rice and guacamole her steak was completely burned and dried up it was completely hard to even chew. She decided not to even eat it because you could barely chew on this. Then People around us kept getting up and leaving by how long they kept waiting for the waiter to come and attend them. We asked for the check we paid and left never again will I come here for the amount of poor service and lack in the kitchen.

Everytime I'm in the area, I always check this place out. Today, I'm ordering to go for a get together. They have a new menu since I last stopped here. I didn't see molle on the menu but I ordered something that translates to parade... it a big dish with chicken, beef and pork. The cactus and the yucca is something I don't taste often and it was a great pair to the main dish. I don't speak Spanish well but the staff informative and nice.. Parking right on the same lot if some are wary of the area. Oh, and ofcourse, a good selection of banda and ballad music playing.

Delicious authentic carne asada or al pastor tacos and rather inexpensive at 3 for $7. Taco Tuesday is an even better deal at ten tacos for $10!
