Stopped by today for lunch & decided to sit at the bar and all I have to say is we’ll definitely be coming back! The bartender Yolanda was so attentive to us, the food was delicious, and their bar is very nicely put together. Absolutely love what they have done to this place!

We had a server she’s short and has ginger hair first gave us the wrong order, served us with attitude, very impatient, my friend has autism and she kept rushing her to figure what to eat. Charged us a different persons bill and us being good people we realized and came back. She kept blaming us after we came and paid she then said we are bad people for not paying the bill when in reality it was her fault for charging us the wrong bill at the end because when the tab came it was correct but when she charged the card she ran it under a different tab. The manager took our side and said the serve was in the wrong and apologized. PLEASE BECAREFUL WITH THIS PLACE BECAUSE THIS IS SCAMMING!

El Camarón Botanero – The best seafood vibes in Passaic, NJ!
Text:
I visited El Camarón Botanero in Passaic, NJ, and I was honestly impressed! The seafood was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. I tried the shrimp in garlic sauce and the ceviche — both delicious and beautifully served.
The staff is friendly, the place feels festive, and the portions are generous. It’s the perfect spot for anyone who loves authentic seafood and a fun, relaxed atmosphere.
Highly recommend El Camarón Botanero — you’ll leave happy and full!

I called for pick up for a fish fillet with rice and an aguachile. I walked in, great customer service, but I was not expecting what I got for the amount I paid. I was surprised, given the other pictures associated with this restaurant. I spent about $60 for the picture seen below. The food was alright, but the price was ridiculous.

The food is very good, the seafood broth is not spicy, which is good for those who don't eat chili. The seafood tower seemed good to me, a little expensive, but I won't give it a 9 if they lower the price by a 10.
