This is THE spot right now for great eats, drinks, and a fun vibe! They are serving up epic margarita flights, frozen margs, birria tacos, as well as your favorite classic Mexican dishes! The birria dishes were absolutely unreal. They were super savory and full of flavor. The portion sizes were crazy huge and we had a ton of leftover food. Stop in on the weekend for brunch too! Everything was absolutely delicious and you will definitely want to come back for more. The service was very attentive and very helpful in deciding what to get. I recommend stopping here for a great time full of great Mexican eats!

When every restaurant was full on Cinco De Mayo, we were able to grab a quick spot at Jalapeños. It was a lot of fun and they really spiced up the night for the holiday with a dancer and good music. It was very loud but very fun and people were dancing to the music. It was a great time! The service took a little bit longer, but it was completely full so that's understandable. The drinks were strong and delicious. The food was great too. I never expect much from a burrito, but they are my favorite so I order everywhere I go. This one had the most delicious seasoned chicken, rice, and beans inside. Let me say too, that the guacamole is absolutely delicious. Definitely order! Will be back even just for takeout.

Let's say it was the year 2016, trump vs Hillary and after hearing everything trump have said about Mexicans, you decided to try Mexican food for the first time ever. After visiting jalapeño Mexican grill, you would definitely support the wall. Definitely a skip

Food is great and definitely is what I was looking for. I went on a friday night with my wife and it wasn't too packed, however the live music made it almost impossible to hear. Other than that, i'd recommend.

Came for brunch. It's a good time with music. Service could of been a bit before. The food and drinks were decent. I'd come back for the vibes

We visit this place often and so far it has been great. The staff is pretty nice and they make sure you don't feel forgotten. This time we got the Tostadas De Tinga as an appetizer and both the chicken and beef Birria Tacos! We were there during their happy hour and got their Red sangria and a Martini. The portions are just enough and the drinks are good!

I went for brunch and was disappointed to say the lease. The food was terrible. I read reviews prior to checking this place out and lots of people mentioned how tasteless the food was. I wanted to see for myself and sure enough, not good. I am a fan of Mexican Restaurants so I did want to try this place out. I will not be back.

Mehh. I wanted to like this place SO bad. I never realized how much I loved Mexican food until I moved to LA which set a high standard. Now that I'm back in NJ, I've been searching for a Mexican restaurant that can compete and this one (like many others) missed the mark. Margaritas that were advertised as using fresh lime tasted heavily of sour mix (ick) and Goya mango nectar. The salsa was delicious but very watery, the guac was salty and SUPER creamy, like they got it from one of those pouches. The beef brirria tacos were tasteles, the inner taco shell was soggy and it was overall pretty greasy. And lastly, the pastor tacos were pretty dry with very crispy bits. If someone from the restaurant sees this, I hope they take the criticism constructively because I would love for them to succeed! Just bein honest here.

Wow, where do I start. First, I waited literally a half hour for two elote that were obviously sitting in that pot of water for 8 hrs. Two the corn itself was horrible, very poor quality. It literally tasted like dirt and it was just plain horrible. lol three hahaha they literally charged $14 for two elote… they were actually the worse corn I’ve ever had…..

My Wife saw this place on her Instagram earlier & asked if we could go. It's located in a mixed Business & Residential neighborhood in Passaic, so there is a mix of metered & non-metered street parking. Medium sized venue, with two front entrances. 1 is oddly placed because there are tables with people eating there. The setup needs a little work, because there's no clear path or greeter/podium. We just went to the bar. Staff was basically two Women working both bar & table service. They were Great! The drinks were good. Not too strong, but not at all watered down. We had a Margarita, which was smaller than expected & not served in a traditional glass. Also had a 'Super Mojito,' which came in a large glass, & the 'Prickly Pear' which comes in a "Mexican skull" glass. The food unfortunately fell short. Great presentation, but nothing about it was flavorful or exceptional. It was all, dare I say, Bland! The complimentary chips & salsa, needed salt. The corn on the cob (Mexican Street Corn) wasn't the usual blend of subtle sweetness & salty, but rather it was tangy & tart. Maybe some would like that, but I have never had it that way before & was not a fan at all. We both ordered the Birria Tacos (Beef). They are served with a dipping "sauce." The tacos nor the sauce had any significant flavor. Overall, not a place I would return to nor recommend.
