This place is def not 21+ . Food is good music is so so . A lot of Spanish music. Brunch wasnt really worth $40 tho because u can opt out and get cheaper especially if u dont drink that much. I was not a fan of how there were kids in this place and brunch was dead probably because the weather was beautiful but kids being here lost some stars. The tres leches bomb i also had the mangu it was really good but wasnt too filling. The waitress was OK could've done better. But its not a place I would come bqck too if there's kids

The place had a total of 5 tables. We waited exactly 1 hour for our 3 orders of sushi to come out. On top of waiting an hr to receive my food, it was cold. The service was horrible. Never came to check in to see if we were okay or needed anything. I will never return to this establishment again. I also never give out negative reviews even if I had experience because I dont like harming businesses in any type of way but even after speaking to management they didnt resolve anything at all or seemed to care that we waited an hour for sushi rolls.

Service and atmosphere at 10+. Now the food was ok. I ordered sushi rolls, one of my orders was the salmon, with cucumber. The salmon still had the skin on it and it looked old. Im a sushi person so i know when it tastes fresh and tastes good. Mama sushi didnt taste fresh. But atmosphere was clean and service was great!

I love coming here. This is my second time and I completely love the energy and the people. My waiter was Sorelis and she was amazing! always checking up and making sure my table was okay. The food, cocktails and the service was amazing and the music is very diverse!! I love this location!

I always order delivery I decided go there today 08/01/2025 and I just ask the host a simply question about the park meter and she is like I don’t live here I don’t know you have to figure it out yourself, really disappointed by her attitude and she lost a great customer I used to order weekly .

Where do I begin at, the food was horrible. I really expected alot more from this place especially with the non seafood rolls. Our friend steak was so salt, he couldn't eat it. The only reason for 2 stars instead of 1 is the waitress that took our table. Otherwise not worth the hype.

Unfortunately, my experience at Mamá Sushi in Passaic was not the most pleasant. The food is actually good, but there’s no balance between the quality of the food and the service. While we waited quite a long time for the check, we could see the waitresses chatting among themselves instead of attending to the tables. It felt unprofessional and frustrating.
Additionally, a mandatory 18% gratuity was added to the bill, which didn’t feel deserved given the poor service. Tipping should be earned and left to the customer’s discretion, especially when the service doesn’t meet expectations. Good food alone isn’t enough — I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and works on improving the overall experience.
