The food here was delicious, you wouldn't think so when you come in , it's not classy it's very simple , humble, but the cooks are super nice and friendly, it's a treasure!!! The best champurrado I've had. Veggie quesadillas were delicious, didn't miss the meat at all. I'll be trying the rest of the menu

I absolutely love this place! The food is incredibly delicious, especially the freshly made Levanta Muerto soup with homemade corn tortillas, It is absolutely divine. The enchiladas en salsa verde are the best I've ever tasted in New Jersey. We also got a home style dinner and it was absolutely delicious. Overall, everything is fantastic. It has quickly become my favorite place to eat. This is an authentic Mexican fonda so if you’re looking for fine dinning is not your place but if you don’t mind Fonda style then this is your place because the food is so delicious and can’t beat those prices. By the way there is 2 fondas in one, the seafood side and the taqueria side.The ladies are friendly and welcoming is like you are at your tia’s casa, We can’t wait to go back!

Do not order delivery from here. They will completely change your order. Like literally cross out on the receipt and give you whatever they want. Absolutely awful.

I've ordered the El Patron platter and civeche once a week for two years before I moved. I was missing this place so wanted to thank them with a good review for feeding me such tasty food. The El Patron platter had it all, shrimp, chicken, steak, stuffed pepper, guac, rice, refried beans, etc.. it is perfect for two very hungry people. The civeche is huge, fresh and zesty. 10/10 establishment.

Food is good. Service is inconsistent. The last 2 visits I was pretty much ignored as I was coming in to pick up my uber order. No one but me at the counter and 2 women behind the desk. No eye contact, no hello I'll be with you in a moment, nothing. I even tried to said Hi and was ignored. They talked back and forth while one was tapping away at a screen. After about a minute of standing there being ignored I made a frustrated gesture. The woman finally, without even looking at me, says I'll be with you in a second. She continues tapping away at the screen. Meanwhile my food is sitting 2 feet from her. After about another minute, and me verbally expressing my frustration, she finally ask my name and takes the 3 seconds to hand me my food. Had she just said "Hi, give me one moment" from the beginning, there would be no issue. The fact that she literally ignored me is what pissed me off. I'm taking a break from this place.
