I live in New York. Each time I go to Al Basha restaurant, it is a must for me to go and buy Kunafa at this place. It is the best one I have ever tried. Also, bought other sweets, they were delicious. I was reading the reviews and it is sad most of them talk about the bad service. I have never experienced any bad attitude from the people who work there.

Really odd that they went to a fixed price as opposed to charging per lb for the Knafa. 3 small pieces that didn’t fill the tray. Price per lb is the correct way. If you’re charging a fixed price, then the pieces have to be standard sizes.

Employees very rude, bought some sweets then had to use restroom, no soap in restrooms, I ask one of employees they say I’m not a public servant no more soap. Like what did I say, bought stuff and ask for soap, no soap and on top being rude about it no more soap and not a public servant statements. Even serving customers they were rude.

This place deserves more credit! Most of the reviews are upset about the parking or a one time bad encounter that isn’t meaningful or consistent. I have been buying sweets from here for years. Owners and staff are very friendly and welcoming, lines are never too long, there are seats to dine in with your desserts or can take it to go pretty quick. The knefa is my favorite that they have and the halawat el jibin and sha7abetat are great also. Best part is they are very affordable, 6$ for a slice of knefa when other places in Paterson charging $11-$12. Highly recommend!

We have been customers with them for a long time. Their sweets are excellent, to be honest, but the treatment is very bad. I mean, the aunt who charges, by God, a kind word is free and does not cost you anything. She works in a sweet shop. You should be kinder. I am charging my younger brother and telling him, “Come on, I have other customers and you are angry with me.” This is how people deal, and I swear they are losing our money. I hope the treatment will change

The worst desserts I’ve had in America it doesn’t deserve more than 1 star. The restaurant's food is truly excellent, but this dessert place is very poor. My advice is to focus only on the food and ignore the desserts.

Was in there today. The lady seems to be getting more rude by the day, if you shopped there before you would know what I’m
Saying . I asked for the #2 tray of baklava which is clearly marked $18.00 but was charged $27.00. I don’t mind paying the $27.00 but I think the (sister) needs to be more customer appreciative. Would NOT recommend this place to ANYONE. Sad.
