Everyday the prices go up and down. There’s no way that an egg and cheese sandwich cost almost $9 on wheat toast. It’s always homeless people in there begging while you’re eating. The owners wife is always jacking the prices up. If you don’t eat meat you gotta worry about your eggs tasting like bacon…like it’s freaking horrible. Oh did I forget it’s a freaking fight to get inside whether it’s the people begging for change outside the place or the illegal stuff going on in front of the place. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Wayyyyy overpriced, and this is coming from someone from NYC. The food was not worth the money. Customer service was bare, as if they didn't want to be bothered. French toast barely had any taste, bacon seemed old from the previous day, chicken tasted like it came frozen from a box, grits had a thin layer of cheese on top and nothing mixed in. First and last visit.

I love this place, been coming here for 18 plus years, bur lately they have new waitress and they lack professionalism skills, today I called to place an order, and she just put the phone dwn and literally forgot about the call, I waited 6 min then hung up called bk ,she had the nerve to say they where busy...I was like wtf! Soooo u just leave me on hold like lalalala... let's not forget to mention my order be wrong, and the cook rushes too, turkey bacon be pale and home fries be just as pale like there's NO LOVE IN THERE, AT THIS POINT ITS SAD TO SEE A PLACE I BEEN GOING TO FOR SO LONG LIKE THIS DUE TO LACK OF TRAINING! #GETitTOGETHER

Excellent as always Athens Coffee Shop!! Quick and efficient customer service. Its a dinner type of environment in the heart of downtown. I definitely recommend this place to everyone in Paterson. Place was very clean and the staff was very friendly and nice. Thier foods are really amazing.

I like this place! I came a few times so far and I enjoyed every single time. Only 2 small complaint I have, is that they'll have you waiting and they're a bit overpriced! I was waiting at the counter to make an order but lady was busy which I understand. But when she was done with what she was doing she literally just looked at me and kept going. The younger lady was nice enough to ask me if I was dining in or taking out. Then I took a seat and she came within minutes. I would give this place 3.5 stars, but you can't do half stars on Google reviews. So I gave 4 stars for now, cause I don't believe 3 stars is a good rating for this spot at the moment.
