This is the first time we have visited Bornali Cafe. The restaurant seemed very clean and the food tasted great. We tried polao, various Bangladeshi meat dishes, shrimp, parathas, singaras and shrimp. They all tasted pretty authentic. Their vortas seemed pretty good too. In addition, the service was fast. I would rate it 4.8 out of 5. If you are looking for authentic Bangladeshi food, come here. You won't regret. Highly recommended!

Absolutely loved the food at Bornali Café! After my event in Paramus, I was craving authentic Bangladeshi cuisine and this place did not disappoint. I had kolijar singara, kacchi biryani, and ilish polaw — the flavors were just like home. The owner and his son were so kind and even helped me with parking. They gave us free green mango juice too — so refreshing! A rare gem for real Bangladeshi food. Highly recommend!

It says that it closes at 10 but when I arrived at 9pm it looks closed. The owner needs to update the time.

I tried their food for the first time. I ordered mughlai paratha, Rui fish and mutton kachhi biriyani. Tastewise everything was good. The kachhi biriyani had no meat. Just two pieces of bones. The other items were good.

The place is very clean and the service is great I think but if they want to survive as a business they should really change the cook. The food is less than mediocre Bengali food. I can almost say I would never want to eat it again. And I ordered quite a few dishes.

This restaurant was full on fantastic!!! The food was delicious! The khichuri, chicken pulao, butter chicken, biryani, beef bhuna, Haleem, paratha, chicken lollipop, and chicken 65 were all so delicious! The best part of the restaurant was the malai chop— soft and delicious, simply amazing! Also a shoutout to their tea and fresh green mango juice! If you are in New Jersey looking for a halal place to eat with your family this is the place!! The food was just soooooooo good and the customer service was great!! Brother Mustafa was so kind and attentive! You totally need to come eat here!
