Today I woke up wanting to enjoy a delicious typical meal. I decided to order from this place, but the tail had no flavor and seemed more like boiled. The chicken chicharrón was also lacking in flavor, and they only offer you thigh, despite serving limited portions of meat. The onion that accompanied the yucca was too vinegary. It was a disappointing experience, especially when you were expecting to eat something delicious. I ended up throwing away the food. throwing away food. Waste of money!

My husband, always on the lookout for authentic Dominican restaurants, was eager to try this spot. While street parking was a bit of a challenge, we managed to find a spot within a few blocks.
The restaurant is small and intimate, with a handful of tables. The ordering process is unique, as you select your dishes from a glass case and place your order at the counter.
We started with a refreshing Jugo de Cereza (cherry juice), which was a perfect balance of sweet and tart.
Bacalao (salted cod) was cooked to perfection, tender and not overly salty. Vegetable rice was a flavorful accompaniment.
Cocido de Paticas (Pig Feet Stew) was a standout dish, with the meat falling off the bone effortlessly. The Black Bean Moro and Habichuelas Roja (red kidney beans) rounded out our meal nicely.
This seemed like a no-frills, local restaurant, ideal for a quick and affordable meal. The authentic Dominican flavors and friendly service made for a satisfying dining experience.

Parking is a mess there. It's near private houses and the homeowners park on the street making it difficult for patrons to find parking spots to dine or even pick up their orders. It's been like this since 2018 and it's 2024! Not too many fish and vegetarian dishes for me, but did you eat s lot of meat s big variety for you to try.
The service is not good, I went and it seemed like I was asking a favor from an enemy, the beans were delicious and the ripe plantains too

I actually love the food here. However my issue is with the customer service the restaurant provides for Uber eats. The merchant has the option to list items such as soup as not available but they never do this. They wait for customer to order then tell the customer to cancel in an attempt to pocket the cancellation fee. Even if you ask Uber eats to cancel the order they tell you call the restaurant. The merchant argued about how they can’t cancel which Uber eats confirmed is inaccurate. The merchant hung up because they refused to cancel the order. Merchant could have prevented this issue and resolved this issue on their end but refuse to.
