The service was terrible. The guy looked at me like he didn’t speak English proceeded to ask me what I mean like he didn’t know English. All I wanted was a sandwich but I decided to go somewhere else. It’s sad when you can even get some food from a store possibly because of your skin color because of the demeanor and customer service is so poor. It was also very cold and smelly inside and he was cutting meet at the cashier counter. SMH

10/27/24 I went to dj deli and usually get the empanadas but decided to get a breakfast sandwich. I asked for turkey bacon eggwhites and cheese and got a sandwich that look like it was smothered in gravy! Eggwhites were brown and covered in the same fluid and the bread was soggy and drenched in brown fluid. I should have taken a pic but threw it away immediately out of disgust!!! I am a former corporate chef so I know all about food and that sandwich was cooking on a nasty dirty grill! If I didn't live across town I would of brung it back and threw it across the counter. Ill stick to what I know if I even ho there again. And if dj deli reading this post CLEAN YOUR GRILL AND KEEP IT CLEAN FOR ALL CUSTOMERS.

This place blew me away. The food was great and the portions are great too you’re paying for quality. On top of the great food you’re being greeted by amazing staff. My friend told me about this spot and before telling me anything about the food he told me about the people who work there. When I walked in I was treated as a friend not a customer I felt very welcomed. I could tell this staff member puts people first and respects everyone. I’m definitely going to keep sharing this spot to my friends and people I know

Unbelievable sandwich A+ Love the options as to how big exactly you like your sandwich. First time visit was in July and it was HOT & STUFFY in this establishment. Owner must invest in some kind of air conditioning ? then just a fan that blows hot air around. Disappointed on how it is not a priority in keeping customers comfortable shees.... The only other thing worst is the coleslaw, ? awful just as dry and hot as the atmosphere.
