When we lived nearby, my family and I would frequently visit this eatery. We now make an effort to visit this restaurant at least once when we are all in New Jersey. The cuisine is classic Dominican goodness. I love the stew chicken, roast chicken, ribs, chicken and pigeon peas and red beans. All are delicious. My Mom loves the octopus salad.
I've been going to Ensueno for 26 years.. whenever I'm in the area I make sure to stop by and pick up alot of food so we can enjoy it and still have leftovers. Rice, beans, tostones, sweet plantains, chicken, steak with onions, salad... we love it!!!
Food is delicious… but I asked for a mofongo with less salt & less garlic. They did not paid attention. It was salty & too much garlic; maybe the waitress did not write it down. This was the second time that this happened.
