It is so nice that a town like Boonton, NJ has such a diversity of restaurants with many foreign flavors. Eric's Jamaican cuisine was wonderful. I tried their Beef and Cheese Patty for a snack the other day and it was very good. The crust was nice and flaky and filled with a nice portion of ground spicy beef and cheese nicely melted inside. My family is from Jamaica, so it is very hard for me to find authentic Jamaican food. This place is one I would recommend to anyone looking for an authentic taste of island. Two Thumbs Up!
Like many other people, we've driven past Eric's Jamaican restaurant but tonight we finally stopped in. I had a small size stewed chicken with peas & rice, plantains and a savory stewed cabbage. My husband ordered curry goat. The food was delicious and beautifully seasoned. The waiter told us which foods would be spicy. The place is clean and home style in appearance. We are definitely returning soon. The food was delicious.
