Small Dominican restaurant selling traditional meals for breakfast, lunch & dinner. Staff is friendly and efficient. They offer takeout or dine-in at one of many tables in the clean dining area. Food choices are displayed behind glass at the order counter and there is a cold case with assorted beverages to purchase. Prices are reasonable. I ordered my breakfast meal from the “TooGoodToGo” app and received a meal with delicious large portions of various Dominican breakfast food. Parking is challenging though, with No Parking signs on both sides of the busy side street. Also, the sign above the restaurant displays a different name (Yamasa Restaurant), which is a bit confusing. I will definitely return to try the lunch and dinner meals.Update: Thank you chef/owner for working on updating the restaurant signage.

Upon reading the owners reply to my review, I took my uncultured self to the fridge and put the spaghetti back with the rice and beans, and ...it was delicious. This goes to show, that sometimes you need to step out of your comfort zone and try new things! I also spoke with a Dominican friend of mine, and he explained to me that it was the packaging that made it look unappealing since it smooshed it all together. I stand by my packaging comments ...and will happily admit I was very wrong about the "spaghetti on rice and beans" thing... It was a combo I would have never of tried ....and I am very happy I did . --------Original Review Starts Here-----------Went here today using "Too Good To Go" App (Which is an app used to reduce food waste by offering mystery meals at a discount of foods that would typically be tossed at the end of the night.There were a few issues that had nothing to do with the place itself... Parking being the most challenging. The fact that the place has a different name on the outside with nothing indicating "Green Delicious" was a bit obnoxious as well. The place was very clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful (I was unaware on something with the app and one of the folks there helped me out) ... Now onto the food itself...Again, I ordered a mystery meal... So I had no say in what I was getting, and my expectations were not very high due to the fact that I KNEW I was to be getting food that would otherwise end up in the trash at the end of the night... and I paid accordingly.What I received was a round metal takeout container with white rice on one side, beans on the other .......and SPAGHETTI tossed on top of it. The containers were packed...so they were definitely not skimpy with portions, however ...I could not make the 12 min drive home without spaghetti leaking out of all 3 Meal containers into the bag. I STRONGLY feel that if this is the normal contents of these mystery meals, they need to find a different method of packaging. Other then the fact that it leaked all over the place, Spaghetti does not belong on top of rice and beans...PERIOD. It took some time, to attempt to seperate the meal to make it edible. In doing so I tasted the components, and everything DID have good flavor. It's just not a meal one would expect together. So the pasta was scraped off the rice and put aside for lunch tomorrow... While the rice and beans are part of tonights dinner. Overall, it is worth giving them a 2nd shot (thru normal menu ordering) due to the fact that they are clean, friendly and the food was ok enough, to attempt another try.
