Food was horrible and a struggle to get through eating. That is not authentic Jamaican food. It was lazily prepared. Hard microwaved rice and peas and unflavored oxtail. The Mac and cheese was prepared from a box; not baked Mac & cheese. I’m so disappointed. It’s almost as though the chef didn’t taste as they cooked. Worst Caribbean food I’ve eaten in NJ by far.

We forgot to leave a review from our first initial visit. We got the oxtail with rice and peas, cabbage and plantains and Mac and cheese. It’s a very clean establishment and the food is delicious. The owner is extremely nice and makes you want to come back for more.

Great food. I usually get the Oxtail with rice and peas and it always on point. I also special order the ackee and salt fish and it reminds me of the ackee my Mom used to make growing up. Definitely worth the trip. I go usually once a week to 2 weeks.

I visited the restaurant today and Hillary prepared me a vegan dish with cauliflower and other veggies. I have no clue what she did to that food, but everything was amazing!! I will definitely be going back ASAP! Thank you for your kind service and delicious meal. Although the price wasn’t ridiculously expensive, it was worth every penny.

Love the food from this place so much. They normally have at least two vegan main dishes on rotation. My favorite is the Lima bean dish. Hefty portion of a Lima bean stew with rice, plantains, and cooked cabbage. They have also had a vegan soup on the menu which was also fantastic. I order for delivery, so I haven't actually been there. Last thing I will say is that they have called me once because an item wasn't being made that day that I had ordered on doordash. Person on the phone was very nice and told me if I call ahead they can make something not on the menu( if ingredients are available)for me and have it ready for when I order delivery. She even was willing to make the item and deliver it herself if I wanted, but I was a little far and didn't want to give them all that work.
