If you leave a bad review you a hater everytime I order I clean my plate. The potato salad is delicious the Mac and cheese and awesome and those collard greens will hang you by your collar stop playing. I been ordering for a year now. The fish is delicious also. Her lemon pepper chicken is great also. It give you more of a thanksgiving day plate. Soul food for real if they leave a bad review because they don’t know what real soul food is baby. It always remind me of my mom thanksgiving or Friday night fish days you know that southern love in Jersey tho.

Many people in my family have recommended this restaurant and I've also had the fish at a family function. I decided to go on lunch break to take advantage of the discounted fish sandwich on Wednesdays. I called several times and they didn't pick up, therefore opted to do the pick up option via Door dash. On my way there, my pick up time was increased by 90 minutes. I went in and asked them to cancel the order, as I needed to get back to work. Was advised in a rude tone that I shouldn't have done the order through Door Dash, and that I should have called (no one was picking up, I tried that first). If Door Dash is not an option, it shouldn't be offered. I really wanted to support a black owned business, but I won't be back again.
I order 2 chicken wing dinners with collard green and yams instead we were given cabbage I was not happy about, the rest of the food was good. Had my mouth all tuned up for those green and got cabbage that wasn’t good at all.

I ordered on uber eats the food took like 2 hrs to be ready i dont understand why…all these reviews must be from friends and family because this food was NASTY down to the hot sauce and tartar sauce the fish tasted like it was old the shrimp had no taste and was nasty collard green disgusting mac n cheese tasted reheated it was a DISGRACE im from NY and jersey always disappoints me and i be wanting to support black owned restaurants but ya disappoint me all the time the banana pudding was a joke rotten bananas and it was hot when recieved i wont ever order here again please do better and serve better quality food and please cook like you want a returning customer idk how all these reviews said the food is good i swear i threw it all in the garbage
