One of the worst restaurants I been too, took us 2 hours for our food, and we had to buy pica polo cause the hunger was kill us, ordered Chimi od salty, customer service, was ok

This place needs to treat delivery customers like they treat dine in customers. It can take an hour or more to get the order ready. Very annoying

Ok where do we start. Went to get some chicken from DR pica pollo which is the same owners. Decided to get food with the family at casa de mofongo, worse decision ever. Food took forever to come out where we had to ask two separate times for it 1.5 hours total. Then the food came out cold which is weird you would think the made it fresh. No flavor over priced just a bad experience overall. And get this gratuity is automatic and when walking out swear 1 block away the waiter ran up out of breath BBL all to the said saying we short changed her and that she would be responsible for the short pay. I laughed and said how much was the bill she said 122 including the gratuity I said count the cash and she said sorry and walked away. Terrible

Came to La Casa Del Mofongo with high expectations based on the reviews & was sadly disappointed.

The only redeeming dishes were the chicharron de cerdo & mofongo de mixto for the aperitivo. The entrees left so much to be desired.

I ordered the fried red snapper which tasted acidic. The batter was coagulated and the entire fish was refried, it smelled like rancid oil. I ordered a salad, and the server neglected to inform me it came with a salad, so I had double the salad. Speaking of, it consisted of sad trimmings of lettuce, few slices of mushy tomatoes & cucumbers, with a few sprinkles of corn.

My partner ordered a mofongo de churrasco, and the server repeated the temperature incorrectly twice, stating we said medium well when we repeated medium rare. His dish was fine, but that’s kind of the bare minimum, mine was beyond disappointing.

Service was extremely rushed during the order process when there was not many customers, but no one to be found when we wanted to ask for condiments.

There is automatic added gratuity and that’s a non-issue for me. I firmly believe servers should be paid fairly, however, I have many reasons to believe it’s led to complacency and subpar service at this establishment.
