What is a pollo la brasa without it's aji?I order through Uber, and when my order arrived I saw that I was missing the extra aji that I paid and also missing the aji that came with the order. I ordered 2 extra aji because I ordered two orders of the pollo la brasa. When I called to let them know what happened, the woman over the phone simply blamed the Uber driver for not double checking and reminding her. I told her it's not Uber job to double check an order that you prepared. Blaming it on Uber instead of apologizing for the error was just very unprofessional. Won't be ordering from this place again. I've ordered from different Lena Carbon's in the area and the attitude and blaming it on an Uber driver for their failure turned me off from this location.

Apart from the food that doesn't taste like Peruvian food, when placing the order they are told three times that I want chicken broth part of the leg, and they give you whatever they want. A little more seriousness, keep in mind that one seeks good care in every sense. I will not buy more from them.

Terrible service, just saying that the waitress took my husband beer when it was still full without asking, in addition to that she took forever to get our drinks, we were done with our food when she brought our drinks so we decided to order more and ofc it took forever again. My husband doesn’t speak Spanish but that wasn’t a problem for me but at least if the service is gonna be terrible it would be nice if she can communicate appropriately with the costumers. The 18% “gratuity” is ridiculous, I think they put it on purpose bc their service is not worth not even a penny tip

Horrible waitress.one of them yesterday took the wrong order and the other one raising her voice tried to force me to take it I was on shock with this marginal behavior .I been living away from Peru for several year I have always heard that they always tried to scam you but I couldn’t believe they tried to do it here .Thanks God my father was with me and put her on place and Beside all this she really deserved no Tip for such behavior but the House force you to Leave 18% with out asking …

I’ve been at strip clubs that I felt less like they were just after my money. I order a meal which was l $17 for chicken and rice fine whatever but they gave me one green sauce. So I said I wanted more was willing to pay and they charge me one dollar for each little shot glass. I was annoyed but I paid it and then I realize it still wasn’t enough so I went back so the woman who did not speak English in Paterson New Jersey said $6 and you get a big cup all right. Wish you would’ve told me that earlier. She goes to ring me up, she says I have eight dollars in my hand so she changes it $7 OK clearly are at this point this woman had no regard for my money. The foods OK it’s Peruvian chicken and rice. I don’t understand how they get away with charging or the only part of the meal that makes it different. When I go to Italian restaurant, they don’t charge me $.50 for grated cheese. If you’re going to do that, at least have the decency to speak English even a little bit.
Ordered chaufa with shrimp and some potato dish. The chaufa was alright but it’s insane how much they charge for the grande papa a la Huancaina ($26 for 4 potatoes, 1 egg and some egg sauce) is ridiculous. If you order, always double the price of items or you will be surprised!!!!

Bad experience.Anticuchos and the combo were totally horrible. Driving home 30 minutes and finding the taste ugly, asking for the meat well cooked and they gave it red. The taste, smell and preparation are very bad. First and last time with this restaurant

The fried chicken was juicy and crispy hot fresh damn that was some delicious fried chicken the Chicha was the best I ever had everything was outstanding I don't know how they got bad reviews I'm shocked

We often order their ceviche mixto and seco con frejoles to go! Delicious! Love the big portions and the taste! 100% recommend! Also, can’t beat having parking in the middle of Downtown Paterson.
