Years ago, this place used to be decent; nowadays, they can't make a cake to save their life. The cake frosting smells very eggy, and the cake is very dry, which is weird because most Dominican cakes are flavorful and moist; this one isn't. The newer reviews seem misleading because some of their friends and acquaintances are writing positive reviews to make it seem like their cakes are good when they're not.

I contacted Mary’s cakes for a dulce de leche and piña 1 lb cake and within 24 hours I was enjoying the freshly baked and beautifully designed cake for my husbands 30th birthday. The service was pleasant and the quality of the cake and design exceeded my expectations. All of our guests complimented the taste and freshness. Don’t waste your money👎👎 De lo peores cake que he comprado, directo a la basura. Decoration, taste, flavor, texture everything was baddd horrible. I paid 75 for 1/2 a pound 🤮Ah you can’t complain/can’t say anything because they’ll give you attitude.

I don't like to give bad comments but the truth is that it was a total disappointment, I ordered half a pound of milk cake, and they made me half a pound of pineapple cake, the cake was horrible, the dough was like raw, no one in my family liked it. I like the pineapple cake and when I called the next day they told me that it was a mistake and that I could return the cake, like after a birthday and how would we know that the cake was pineapple if we didn't serve it. Horrible cake, I do not recommend it!!!!!
