I grew up in Miami and loved the variety of foods and especially breads that are part of the Jewish culture. One of my favorite breads is Challah. I purchased one of your Challah loaves this week from Whole Foods and was disappointed the crust was so overcooked in my opinion. It looked and tasted almost burned and was so dark. I cut off all the crust and threw it away. All of the Challahs I’ve purchased from CA bakeries where I’ve lived 25 yrs have had a light golden crust of similar color to Brioche. I see the loaf photo on your website is dark as well so I am assuming a lot of people might like it. Different culture and taste I guess. Just sharing my opinion. Thanks for reading. 😊
