This is my third time having a great experience with this subway next to the St Joseph hospital in Paterson NJ. The first time there was a Hispanic young man training and he was very nice and attentive he did take his job seriously. The second time the same young man was handling my food and touching everything else with the different sanitary gloves. This was my third and not last time with this subway there was a nice African American woman serving me. I asked her if there were any meatballs she pleasantly stated yes. When she was making my sandwich she opened the container that it was in and there were an astonishing amount of delicious meatballs. I ordered a foot long. There was a sweet, young man as well. She asked him and he said I don't know check in the back. She went to check. The young man stated to me with a pleasant voice that he found the meatballs and apologized for the wait. I explain to him I am upset at all. He then told me "I am very glad to hear that." Again with a delightful voice. Best Subway ever!!!!! Definitely coming back. If I could give it 10/5 I would.

She asked him and he said I don't know check in the back. She went to check. The young man stated to me with an attitude there is none do you still want the sandwich. The young lady never came back to tell him if there was any or not. I explain to him I am not paying for a foot long sandwich with two meatballs. He then told me "then don't eat it" he we will put it back. Again with a rude nasty unprofessional attitude. I don't know how this subway is still open with the employees they hire there. I work in the hospital and I go there frequently so does a lot of other employees here. I hear several complaints. This subway is just losing customers. I will never purchase another item from them. The young man there was very rude and disrespectful.

Terrible experience all around: staff actively ignoring customers, regularly out of core supplies/ingredients and poor sanitary conditions both in the serving and 'dining' areas. This is blatant exploitation of hospital traffic otherwise this place would be out of business. Makes me question how/ if Subway maintains any quality standards across locations.

This subway has the worst customer service I have ever come across. The staff is too busy standing around in the back talking to each other. Service is very slow. The tables are all dirty I had to wipe one so I can eat my sandwich. Only stopped here cause I'm visiting my son in the hospital, but never again. Avoid this place at all cost. Too bad there is no option for zero star.
