The food quality was good and tested like an authentic Shawarma, but the amount of food was not satisfying enough for the high price of the meals. However, the staff were so disrespectful and mean, they talked with us in a rude manner and they let us end up getting disappointed eventually. They didn’t bring the French fries directly with the main dishes and they procrastinated till we lift even though they had said they will bring it up to us three times. Overall, our experience was horrible, the tables and the floor were so dirty and missing the utilities.

I’m writing this review to express my disappointment with my recent visit to Reem Alsham. The shawarma, the centerpiece of the meal, was dry and lacked flavor. It’s disheartening to say that I’ve had better shawarma from street vendors.
The service was equally underwhelming. The staff seemed disinterested and unwelcoming, as if they were forced to be there. The overall atmosphere was cold and uninviting.
It’s clear that some of the glowing reviews on here must be exaggerated or even fabricated. My experience was far from positive, and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The waiting time to prepare a sandwich is ridiculous! almost 40 minutes!
They prioritize online orders and delay in-place orders.

I asked for beef but they gave me lamb I think the sandwich didn’t smell good. The fries were very hard. The pickles seemed old didn’t taste fresh at all. Chicken was decent though

Food is good, but the service is preferential and you may get the short end of the stick if you look a certain way? 🤔
I went in there, ordered a mixed combo (beef and a chicken shawarma about $20) and then a white police officer behind me orders the same exact thing as me. When the food was ready after about 10 minutes, I was sidestepped as they told the officer that his food was ready and handed him his order while I was literally standing in their line of sight. Then I had to wait nearly an additional 7 more minutes. I couldn't tell if this was a racial situation because they are Syrian (light skinned) in a predominantly dark-skinned Arab hub, but the irony is that I'm not even Arab/Muslim. I'm a Hispanic that I suppose can pass as for being a brown Middle Easterner. And I'm aware that there are tensions amongst certain communities even within a cultural hub as I can confirm that some Hispanic groups dislike others yet own and run restaurants in the same neighborhoods.
Regardless, my rational assessment is that there was some reason they blatantly and shamelessly decided to disrespect a patient paying customer in such a manner. It wasn't an accident or a misunderstanding. I read the room and noticed that their staff all had nonchalant unwelcoming attitude when I was giving my order, but they didn't keep the same energy when the police man placed his order.
That experience left a poor taste in my mouth despite the food actually tasting good. I never desired to be collateral to whatever politics they may have.

Warning, don't order from Slice. Cancelled my order after an hour, they couldn't understand English and it took a while to get someone who could understand English to talk to me only to tell me that "Slice doesn't deliver so call Slice". Slice says restaurant cancelled the order, complete mess.
