1st of all, the place was very dirty, from the wash sink, to the bathroom. No gloves when preparing the food, and no straws or condiments. When we finally got our food, there was 2 long hairs on the shawirma. I came and experienced the same results a year ago, and i thought after a year passed by that they would step there game up, but I was wrong and it was worse than ever. I will never ever go back there again. Very poor hygiene, bad service, dirty place, and hair all over my food.

I am very sorry to give this review. I went after watching a social media post and genuinely wanted to support the business. There were two young teenagers who were working at the front desk who really were checked out and did not care at all. They were not courteous and also they basically were acting like the shop was closed even though there was still at least an hour left in the open hours. I am sure this is a nice business run by nice people, but unfortunately, they had a very poor display of customer service due to the young people who were working there.

The chicken sandwich was inadequately cooked. Twenty five minutes for a sandwich that was raw, and a member of my party is still sick from lack of care in food preparation. I had come here a year ago and their food used to be unmatched in taste. Eight dollars for a small, undercooked sandwich.

Worst place to try and get food from. They really do get out of their way to make you feel unwelcome. My Handicapped Granddaughter placed an order for me by phone and I was standing there with her and I heard her be pleasant to the guy who answered and took her order. She spoke clear and kind to the rude guy who answered . When I sent my Granddaughter to pay and pick up my order from there, the guy made 2 orders for something completely different than what my Granddaughter placed on the phone. They not only were rude in the way they spoke to her but they also got aggravated when she told them that the order they gave her was the wrong one. This was the last time that I had her go back there again. She told me that the way they glared at her with a dirty look, it made her feel out of place and unwelcomed. I don't care how close this place is. It's clearly not worth it.

A Paterson staple and my personal favorite shawarma spot in the city. The meat is always perfectly seasoned, juicy, and sliced fresh off the spit. And the staff always make you feel welcome. Overall, this place never disappoints, definitely recommend.
