Finally a place in Chicagoland that does the Halal chicken and rice the right way. I also tried the chop cheese which was authentic out of Brooklyn. This is the only place doing it right in the area. Today was probably my 8th time there since they’ve opened. Great place, keep it up.
*The other new place is all show and no taste or class for that matter.

Ordered via UberEats, Cheese Burger doesn’t have cheese as default. You need to pay extra if you want CHEESE in CHEESE Burger. Also order was missing the side sauces.

I recently visited Shah Halal at Cypresvägen 4, and my experience was disappointing. The wait time exceeded 30 minutes with no clear queue system, and it was frustrating to see guests who arrived after me being served first. Ultimately, I had to give up without being served.

I ordered takeout from Shah's Halal Food and tried the falafel over rice as part of a BOGO promotion. There are a few seats available if you'd like to eat on-site, but there’s no washroom (it’s shared with Subway), and no Wi-Fi. As for the food, the sauces were tasty. I’ve had the falafel here a couple of times; the first time it was over-fried, but the second time it was cooked well. The taste is decent, and the portions are generous. Parking can be a bit challenging since it’s all roadside.

The first time I had food from this establishment was last year and it was pretty good. But the last 2 times I’ve ordered from here (all this year).. it’s been absolutely garbage. Don’t even waste your money buying it on Uber eats for buy 1 get 1 free … it’s even more disgusting!

I order the no salad, they gave me salad and they give me very little meat and I got the combo. This is the third time they are doing this, I thought it was a mistake but they are giving people smaller portions on purpose and dumping the leftover vegetables they have on the patters. I got more cucumbers than I did lamb or chicken portions. I give up trying to order from here and I warn everyone the price is not good the food, it’s not true halal and the food is pretty mid. The only thing they have going for it is the buy one get one free but I feel like they also make sure to give people less protein to save themselves a few dollars. Do yourself a favor and order true Halal from Halal are Us or those food trucks, those are a lot better, but anything is better then this store food. It’s a shame I keep spending money here and still getting low quality food and service from them.

My wife loves the chicken kofta and I'm a huge fan of the lamb over rice. We will continue to patronize your business because the quality and flavor is top tier!

I order an order and also I didn’t want the food to be so spicy all I want is one line of spicy sauce and they put over 2,3 lines of spicy sauce I wasn’t be able to eat the food because it was too hot , and also this is the second time happened .
