This is my go to Jamaican spot especially for breakfast
The food is always on point. The service given by the owner leaves a little to be desired at times.

food was amazing, most people are very impatient and don't want to wait to get their good food and end up leaving but if you just wait your turn and give the food to try and not judging by appearance you will have the best food ever . don't judge a book by its cover ?
Very slow server, you cannot be in a rush

I just order some food from this piece of unattractive place a customer was in front of me they were talking about some stuff that is happening in Jamaica now it was my turn to make an order then someone from outside shouted what they want and blah blah the lady serve him instead of me I just walk away and go to popeyes. I will never go back to this place or any Jamaican restaurant.

Very tasty Food. Awesome service
Updated reviewI was going to have ackee & saltfish delivered but, of course, none the delivery apps were any help. Then a mind told me to call Shawni's and thankfully they were open and had just what I wanted.I went in this morning and orderEd the bigger size of ackee & saltfish w/ the works. It was as expected. Good as usual and the price was more reasonable this time!Review from 2017This place used to be poppin' back in the day. The restaurant itself needs a revamp. I hope it gets one soon because the food is still really good-- when they have it anyway.I think they serve the best ackee & saltfish, honestly, but it's expensive here. They also serve good peanut porridge in the morning.
I’d give this place ZERO STARS if I could. I went here after I went to Stone’s still in the pursuit of a beef patty and guess what. They had none. Yes at 12:45pm on a Saturday they had no beef patties. I asked why? The nice lady told me if I wanted beef patty so bad to bake them myself at a bakery. I know right TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I will never go back. The stereotype is true. Jamaican restaurants never have food and treat their customers terribly.
