Not the same pie from before. I live in Paterson and have been going there for years. The original owners sold the company and it is no longer black owned. An Italian food company bought it. Newest reviews are definitely fake.

Best Sweet Potato Pie on the planet. I have eaten them all and this one out of Paterson NJ is the best by far. My family has been buying them for the past 25 years. And it's the same as it tasted 25 years ago. They now have a banana pudding that's out of this world. Can't wait to taste whatever else they develop
This was my childhood sweet potato pie spot before I move to Georgia And every time I will come home to Jersey I will go git a dozen like they were Krispy kreme with the red light on

While unwrapping the pie and placing it on a bakers pan to warm up, I noticed the pies have black specs in them. Some remarks made on Facebook says they are tiny bugs. If that's so, your machines need to be cleaned. Disgusting!

I purchased peach cobbler with my NY chicken over rice the other night and fell asleep on the delivery…next morning the cobbler was safe and sound in my fridge brought in by my niece who works the Night Shift….that cobbler was on point and I had zero ounces of shame for eating it for breakfast nor was I too proud to go to the store I got it from later that day and buy 4 more. I am eating that last pie now and it’s definitely as good as the first second and third time (shared one with Mama who ate it and was consumed with the itis) ? I never leave google reviews but as a business owner I know how much positive feedback can carry a company!!! Bravo. And Goodnight to me and my cobblah food baby ? best pie I had in my 29 years of life yum I’mBlessed ???

They a have not been open for walkins since COVID. You have to call 2 weeks in advance for holiday, like Thanksgiving and Christmas.
