Had my daughters Communion party here.
Pros - Cookie the person who organized everything is amazing. All and any questions I had she was able to help with. Short ribs and calamari was a huge hit!! No complaints at all about the food. The cake was beautiful. They let us come in early and set up center pieces. I had 2 waiters and they were amazing. I had 40 people and they handled everything beautifully.
Cons - As soon as I walked in I didn't even put my bag down I was asked for payment. I did have 6 people not show up and I didn't expect a refund but I did want to let them know and since I was approached first thing I didn't know they weren't there yet because everyone was just getting there. I also was going to see if I could have added on beer and wine since 6 people didn't show and pay the difference but that didn't happen because payment had to be made right away. I was told I was able to bring home the left overs and all I got was chicken and short ribs meanwhile there was mushroom risotto, calamari, mussels, potatoes and salad left over, again 6 people didn't show up so I should have been able to get there meals to take home since I just paid for all of it. The bartender downstairs had a bad attitude and was absolutely rude to everyone.
Would I do another party there possibly but I would things written down in my contract saying that ALL leftovers are to be wrapped up not just what they feel like wrapping up. Or have to go containers so the guest could take something to go and it doesn't just get tossed in the trash.

I’ve been to the banquet hall twice once the food was under par and the second was last night when our room had no heat and I froze all night wore my coat and I couldn’t enjoy my self!! Never again!

Great wedding or party venue. Went with a group of 35 people. Party was on the second floor, & in total there were approx 350 in attendance. Salad & pasta was excellent. So was everything else that came out family style - chicken parm, sausage, peppers & onions, roasted potatoes & fresh mixed veggies. Dessert was the best St. Joseph's zeppole ever!!! Great band & dancing, & Uncle Floyd was the comedian. Great drinks too!

Visited The Brownstone with a group of seniors from a senior center gir a xmas dinner. Very beautiful place. Everyone was courteous and very helpful.

I recently had The Brownstone cater my engagement party, and they were fantastic! They arrived early, fully prepared with their own utensils, and the food was delicious—everything from rice balls and pasta to lobster and steak. The staff was polite and attentive, making the day even more special. Highly recommend!

Attended a Beefsteak charity banquet.No one does it as well as The Brownstone.
This week, my organization hosted an event at the Brownstone. The venue was aesthetically pleasing, and the culinary offerings were exceptional. The staff exhibited a friendly demeanor, and the server demonstrated efficiency. However, I was astounded when the server permitted the front desk employee to assist herself to our food. I would have likely acquiesced had they politely requested permission rather than engaging in this unprofessional behavior.

I've been to the brownstone many of times and I just never find it. Anything special food at best is okay. The area that it's in is not good. Did the core is old and not kept up meaning parts of the rug will pull right up when you walk on them.
