Bismillah. Assalamualaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.
My mother and I drove here from an hour away for lunch on a Saturday afternoon, and Alhamdulillah, we enjoyed our time immensely.
We found street parking easily right outside, the ambience and atmosphere is lovely,, the people were kind and took care of us with a smile (they treated everyone that walked in like family!), and the food delicious from soups to meals. The pita was soft and delicious, perfectly made and enjoyed immensely by us Pakistanis who live on roti! The salad had the best spicy kick and the shrimp meal we ordered was absolutely wonderful - coming from someone who married someone that grew up at the shore and just as picky about seafood now, this cast iron dish was cooked to perfection. I wanted to bring it home for my beach boy to try but it never made it home (Astaghfirullah 😅). But it's okay cuz we're coming back to get some more, إِنْ شَاءَ ٱللَّٰه InshaAllah and also try all the things!!!

The restaurant only had 1 person running front of house (taking orders, serving food, and clearing tables) which in turn caused for bad service... we ordered some chicken haneeth and lamb zirbian and some sahfa (by time we got the bread for it it got cold and he forgot to bring out the hilba)

I ordered the tuna dish at Yemen Land and was very disappointed recently. The food was cooked with very substandard oil that left it extremely oily and heavy, and I even felt unwell after eating it. At the very least, a restaurant should use good-quality oil for cooking to maintain basic standards.
