I found the menu to be overpriced. We were seated for a Mother's Day lunch and I do not think that 100 pp was commensurate with the quality of the food. The bread wasn't fresh, and everything else was pretty mid at best.
Il Monello is an Italian gem in Somerset county. Everything is made fresh and served with a personal touch. We ordered the Osso Buco (amazing!!!) Veal parm, Turbot, Lobster & Crab Raviolos…all spectacular. Do yourself a favor and visit. Leo was spot on serving our party of 11 and Martino ran the show to perfection. This was our second visit and we will be back soon
We had an amazing experience tonight at IL Monello celebrating two engagements during a work event, and everything exceeded expectations.
Martino was an incredible host from the moment we arrived. He made us feel welcome, brought amazing energy to the room, and treated everyone like family. We had a private party room for 10 people that we were able to decorate, which made the night feel personal, comfortable, and home-like.
