Food was great as always but the service was horrible. Despite a reservation we waited 30 minutes to be seated. The waitress seemed annoyed with any question then would disappear until we would ask someone to find her. She never cleared our soup dishes so the just sat piled the whole time. When we needed her to ask her about some steamed rice we ordered she was huddled with about 4 other employees in a corner talking and was very annoyed to be disturbed. The cook was nice... but his show was very phoned in. He did the egg roll joke and slammed things down now and then but it wasn't the experience we were expecting. It's a bummer too because we paid quite a lot for a birthday dinner and it wasn't at all what we expected

The police was dirty, took almost an hour before I received my drink. Waitress was not well put together. Food was good but pricey drink wasn't that good and very pricey.

The experience was good. It was my parents first time there and they really enjoyed themselves.

We went at a very slow time of day. We were the only ones in the restaurant. Unfortunately the chef that served at our table was not that experienced.

This was first time trying benihanas and i will be back. My cook was June and he was a ball of fun and Jokes.... and the food was amazing

Still the best hibachi in South Jersey! The steak, scallops, shrimp and chicken were all perfectly prepared by our Chef Leon.

Reservation for 6:15, did not get seated until shortly after 6:30, not too big of a deal. Service was a bit slow for the hibachi chef to come out and cook but our waitress was nice and efficient. The food was ok, not worth the price as there wasn't much flavor. The thing that bothered me was the lack of showmanship of the chefs which could have made up for the ok food. I noticed the other tables too, it was very lacking. For as much as you pay, you'd expect more. It's not how it was back in the day. We saw the volcano trick and the rice that was a “beating heart” and that was it. I could have bought some steak and shrimp to feed the family for the week for all that. Overall it was an ok experience, just very lackluster and not what hibachi used to be back in the day. Not much interaction between the chef and the guests. Mid.

This restaurant is badly outdated, and the food was fine- but not good. It's nothing like the Benihana I remember from the past. In addition the restroom was filthy. The servers do their best, but they can only do so much when the place is horribly run down.

Terrible service, slow. Cooked one item at a time and by the time something else was cooking that item was cold. Over priced. Over cooked my fillet. Hibachi chef could not cook on hibachi grill. Chef tried to do fire volcano but it fell apart and didn’t work. They stated they would sing happy birthday to my son and told him he would get ice cream. That never happened. Never going back.

My reservation was for 7:15pm we weren't seated until 7:30 then the host said to give out cook 5 min to get his self together it took that man 30 mins to come out. We just sat there patiently waiting. He finically comes out at 8pm. Food was good but having to wait that long was ridiculous. We came out for my son's 18th Birthday. I could understand if the building was busy but at the time only 3 tables we busy the rest of the building was empty. Even the Chef it was a slow day.

We tried the Easter brunch for the first time and loved the food prepared by Chef Dallas – it was perfectly seasoned and a real standout. We'd happily come back just for her cooking. Unfortunately, other aspects need work. The floor near our table was dirty with leftover food (even large steak pieces!), suggesting a need for better cleaning between seatings. More importantly, the service was extremely slow and poorly paced. After two hours, my husband and I had finished and left, while others at our table were still waiting for their main courses like steak and chicken. This slow delivery really impacted the enjoyment of the meal. Hopefully, the service speed and cleanliness can be improved to match the quality of Chef Dallas's excellent food.

Our chef was great, but the waiting times were awful. We were in there for 3 hours! That's crazy !

The waitress was not friendly at all. I went for extended birthday dinner. I was not offered Tea, or Ice cream. I was not given my change or a receipt. Normally, they would ask to you need change back, However, I was never asked. She never said good night or anything. I have been dining here for years and have never had an experience like the I had this evening.
