I have been going to this restaurant since it opened. It has gone through changes but the only thing that hasn't changed is the food. The food is always delicious. It's sad that they took the chicken with the bone phò, off the menu. We still love the food and the staff are very friendly.
A while ago I change my review after a visit to the restaurant but after visiting the restaurant again, I'm happy to say that the place has been cleaned.

Yummy food, Nice Workers, Made me feel at home because they have street food videos playing on their tvs and I can't eat without YouTube. Service was a 4/5 because the cashier didn't say happy New years to me, even tho I heard him say it to another customer

Thai Son is my number one go to Vietnamese restaurant in New Jersey. It’s a no frills family style restaurant with an extensive menu for any mood. They have been around for a long time and they know what they’re doing therefore it never disappoints. I also believe I share the same sentiments with most that we want money well spent in this bad economy and Thai Son fits the bill.

My absolute favorite Pho place! I always get their Stone Pot Pho with the meats on the side. Another amazing thing about that is if the pho broth gets too warm or cold, they can reheat and warm it up again for you! I come here at least once or twice a month and its amazing each time.

In winter, nothing beats a steaming bowl of noodles. Thai son's stone pot beef is a perfect choice. By the time we finished the noodles, the soup was still very hot. The owner didn't cut corners; the quality of the beef was excellent. Their chili is very spicy. If you're not a big fan of spicy food, please don't try too much.

This restaurant used to have a 5 star review from me, but after I found a roach egg shell floating in my soup while dining in I’ve never been back.

Review mainly on the food.
Ordered porkchop pho. Porkchop tasted good (more on the sweet side, which is expected from a vietnamese grilled lemongrass porkchop). The pho’s broth was also kind of flavorful and rich. - 2/3

Phố is good along with other soups. Broken rice platters are really good. Cafe sữa đá is one of the better ones I’ve had. This is basically my go to Vietnamese restaurant.

The food was top notch, authentic and very reasonable. My most favorite dish is the crispy fried cat fish which comes with paper roll, vegetables and noodle so you can make your own rolls. So delicious, flavorful. Moreover, you can’t find this dish anywhere in NJ or NY

My kids begged me to leave a review. They loved the food here! The aroma of the pho smelled so fresh, and my vermicelli dish was yummy. No photos available... I've never seen my daughter eat pho so fast lol.
