I had the pulled pork grilled cheese that was to die for. Great staff, great atmosphere. I plan on taking the Dalton Farms staff here for a company outing to play virtual golf. Can’t wait !

Short rib flat bread. One of the best I ever had. Not overly seasoned, the ingredients did all the work. Nice beefy taste with an equally tasty mozzarella. Sauce was just right. Service was very good. I plan on visiting again when I'm in the area.

Had dinner here last night. We didn't have a reservation and waited about 45 min to be seated, which wasn't too bad. There were a few birthdays there and the bar and kitchen were backed up, so once we were seated, we waited a bit longer for food and drinks. If you like craft beers but aren't sure what you want, try a flight. They offer 4 samples to try in the flight. I could not make up my mind on a sandwich, so I went with the slider flight. It came with 4 sliders. My favs were the short rib slider and pulled pork. The short rib grilled cheese and white flat bread were also good. The bonus was the huge pretzel we got. If you're in the area, check them out.

Parking: Large parking lot but it does fill up.

5 stars all around! Dawn and staff went above and beyond for a private party we held there. Staff was extremely attentive, organized, and friendly. Fabulous food and drinks, and so pleasantly surprised at the special decorations Dawn provided. So many guests asked us "How did you find this place? It's amazing!" Everyone was thoroughly impressed with The Engine House and had a wonderful time. Thank you!!

Great get-together place for friends, family, and couples. Locally owned business.

Child's menu & lidded cup is available. Our family consisted of an age range from a 1 year old to a grandmother. We were there on a Sunday at 5 pm so there was plenty of room, but parking might be at a premium on their Friday and Saturday nights.

Bar, table, and couch seating available. Two virtual golf stations. Very clean, bright, and open.

A prominently large American flag hangs behind the bar. A soloist was playing on a guitar. Good acoustics on the music and singing, and you could still hold a conversation.

Changing seasonal food and drink menu. Mostly sandwiches and salads, but with a twist. Look at how the big pretzel hangs on its own stand!

Check it out and support local!

Stopped by after a ferry ride to Fort Delaware. We were HANGRY to say the least. I was immediately impressed by the asthetic of the place. You can play golf inside on video screens! Staff was great. Hubby got a club sandwich sort of concoction with hard boiled eggs and all. It had normal lettuce and actual red tomatoes. He enjoyed it a lot. I got the French onion flatbread. It was so good that I wanted to stand on a table and tell everyone to eat one. I mean, amazing.

The Engine House is a very unique family friendly bar/restaurant. You can’t deny how clean and well put together this place is and the staff really know how to make it feel like home. Even if golf isn’t your thing you can still enjoy yourself here.

My first time there and I was really surprised with their beer selection. There was a lot more lighter beer, but their selection was still very broad. Not to mention they had at least 3 local breweries on tap. I highly recommend grabbing a flight and I will say the Pum-Queen from Bonesaw was probably my favorite. Bonus points to the Glazed and Confused from Axe & Arrow Brewing.

Their menu was simple but still had plenty to choose from. There wasn’t any traditional fried bar food, but their more healthier take really allows for some tasty food. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t wanna go back to try more of their menu. I was a big fan of their flatbreads, particularly the margherita one.

The staff were great! Brandy and Nicole were really inviting and nice. Nicole guided us down the tap line and we quickly ordered flights. She also just has an awesome personality.

Can’t wait to come back!
