This was not a planned stop, but when you have so many pizzerias so close to each other in Pompton Plains, you need to try them all. AJs is a quick pick up / pizza delivery place. No seating here. Slice and Go all the way. The slice was middle of the road and will probably grade out as such on the Pizza Hunters App.
I don't live too close, but I have bought slices here several times, they are always friendly, the slices are always fresh, the service is quick, and they taste very good. The price is also reasonable.
Their salads, especially the salad topped with goat cheese, walnuts, sliced apples, craisons, tomatoes and grilled chicken on top of mesculine greens is delicious and healthy as well. Ask for their raspberry and walnut vinaigrette on the side! Many of my family members just love all there food. Very friendly as well!
