“This post is long overdue. however; over Easter my aunt in NJ sent me two large kielbasas to Illinois (since she knows how much I miss jersey food in general) but kielbasa was always an Easter staple in our house. For whatever reason Joe's had my wrong shipping address and couldn't get ahold of me bc my voicemail was full. One day I saw a post on their page and I liked it. they responded right away... "Lauren Carr call us!! we have your kielbasa and don't have your correct address." The food got sent back to them. The lady I spoke with was super sweet and said she would send us a brand new package. I highly recommend this business. And, the customer service that comes along with it. Thank you Joe's!!! We are highly satisfied customers. Ps... their pierogies are the BEST TOO!!!!! 💗”

“If you are in Perth Amboy try this new Pizza Spot. I ordered a large pizza with extra cheese. It was better than I expected. They also have self served Ice cream and fresh Juice. Such as OJ, mango, pineapple and even Sugar Cane juice which is good for the hot days. The place is not big to dine a lot of people but you can dine in with a friend with comfort. Since the pizza Oven is at the front it can get hot inside. You can order a juice and youll be ok. Enjoy”

Don’t sleep on the picadera too! The pork carne salada is so good and they put wasakaka sauce all over the meat. The tostones are not drowned in oil and are so crispy.

The only shame is that I live 45 minutes away and can’t eat here more often. But whenever I’m in Perth Amboy, I grab a chimi from here.”

Not sure if they've ever done an order this large at one time, but they did an excellent job. They prepared enough food to feed 150+ . I asked to have it delivered at 2:30, they were there at 2pm. Everything I asked them to prepare was on POINT, ON TIME, AN DELICIOUS. I ordered broccoli in brown sauce - made perfectly, pepper steak, boneless spare ribs, chicken lomein, general tso chicken, vegetable-white-pork fried rice. It was so fresh and flavorful. All my guests enjoyed all the food they prepared. Highly recommended . Let's not forget great customer service!”

Really puts the agua on agua fresca if you know what I mean. That criticism aside though, the establishment is very clean and it’s a well kept store. “I’ve been ordering from Jezif bi-monthly at minimum and every time has been through Uber Eats. They deserve a shout out. I’ve never physically been there but based off the menu I get chicken shack / halal vibes. The first thing id like to address is their consistency. It’s got to be an unbiased 9.8/9.9. The portions are great. The food is always fresh (possibly because I always request fresh chicken and rice) but I will give them the benefit of the doubt. The food is flavorful and the one thing I truly appreciate with the attention to detail. Any special requests I have had have always been honored and accurate. The rice and chicken platter is my go to, with extra chicken of course (not that it’s needed because the portions are great for the price point). It’s worth paying the little extra. White sauce is always fresh. Chicken is always succulent and well cooked. Rice has never been dry or stale. The fried chicken is an elevated version of what you’d get from most “chicken shacks”. They just consistent deliver at a great price point. And again, I’ve only ever ordered through Uber Eats but the product is always hot and fresh. Beef patties are great. This is a great local spot and I won’t stop ordering even if they let me down once or twice… which they haven’t !!! You order a dinner platter and you have an easy two satisfying meals out of it. I love this spot !!! Excellent quality, quantity and an attention to detail which never goes unnoticed. The only flaw in my eyes is that the banana pudding isn’t that good and they don’t have a hot sauce hot enough available through the delivery app. All in all, I’ll happily keep giving them my money in exchange for the excellence they give in return. People do order out a lot from here but they do manage to get your food in there in time as well. They play music which keeps the atmosphere entertained my only complaint was that it was extremely hot inside and the ac was on. Overall good food. The drinks saved me in the heat.”
