I ordered a chicken platacon. It was delicious. The chicken was juicy and flavorful and tamarindo juice was fresh. Will order again soon.

I hadn't eaten a Dominican Hot Dog in a long time, so I wanted to eat one that I really liked, and I can say that it met my expectations in terms of flavor, the only thing I didn't like was that it arrived cold and it's just 4 blocks away where I made the order from.

My neighbor recommended me here. I think this place has some good food. Two times I’ve been here and food is on point. We normally get the Yaroa and some picadera! The only feedback I have the person taking the orders needs to slow down a little and be more attentive to what the costumer is ordering. Because the first time she mess up the order asked her for four Yaroas by the time I got there they only had 3 in the bag. It cause a delay on my schedule. No big deal I had to wait longer. But definitely let’s work on that. Other than that food is excellent.

I was going to write like 3 paragraphs about each of our items. But I realized I could sum it all up in that this food is amazing. Period.

I ordered late at night. My little had an ear infection and hasn't been able to eat much for the past 2 days. I legit thought she was asleep, but she smelled my delivery and came out. I had ordered the saltipapa especially for her. She doesn't love hot dogs, but I thought she might like the rest. Well, I was right. She was able to chew (and LOVED) the soft sauced French fries. After she went to bed, I hit up my beef Cachapa and good freaking lord was I missing out!! I was only able to eat about 1/4 of this giant meal and I still have an entire chicken one left over.

Edit: I raved about this spot and hyped it up so much, I ordered again about a week later. Dinner time on a Sunday.

I couldn't be more disappointed and embarrassed.

My daughter ordered a burger. We specified PLAIN just meat and bun. Not only did it come with everything, it was a sloppy mess. As soon as she tried to pick it up, it literally disintegrated into her lap which left her crying and absolutely nothing salvageable.

I ordered the beef capalcha to share with 2 others. The meat was burnt to an absolute crisp,to the point it was actually painful to eat from the 1st bite. Our entire order went directly into the garbage. The only thing we didn't immediately trash was the $4 bottle of soda which wasn't even the flavor we ordered.

I'm so disappointed, i was so excited to have a new favorite spot to differ so wildly in quality.

Wrong order delivered I ate what I revive and it was nasty.

The best chimi I ever ate!!!! Love the brioche bread makes the chimi unique and taste so good. Everything there is so good even there natural juice my favorite is the pineapple. The night shift lady there is the best always super sweet and always takes care of me well when I go. My go to place always !

Omg! Where do I begin! First, I just want to say that I saw other ppls reviews for this place, and I can't believe it's the same place. It has to be that the reviewers know these ppl. This was by far the absolute worst place I have been to EVER!! So, my friend and I walk in. We tried to order food. The first issue we encountered was that the lady behind the counter didn't speak english, which was fine because I speak Spanish. Apparently, the lady didn't speak Spanish either because I must have repeated our order like 5 times, 2 in English, 3 in spanish. The first order was for a chicken nugget happy meal which came with a drink and fries. Well, the nuggets looked old and were hard, and at the end of our visit, the lady tried to charge me separately for the drink and fries!
Then, my friend wanted a cheeseburger ONLY ketchup. I must have repeated that several times. The lady kept saying with lettuce and tomatoe? We would say NO!
Just what she got? A deluxe cheeseburger with everything on it, including mayo, which she is allergic to!!! Thirdly, I ordered my meal, which was an order of 6 wings. On the menu it has for you to choose what sauce you would like. I picked Sweet chili. Well, I didn't get 6 wings, I got friend chicken. Then, it was served without any sauce. When I asked for sauce, she said all she had was hot sauce. I can't eat hot sauce. I had also asked for fried plantains instead of fries. She said no problem. I was willing to pay extra if need be. she gave me Yuca. I wouldn't have minded, except it was semi raw, and they didn't have oil for it. So, when I got my wings, I didn't get my plantains, I got yuca. Smh... The final straw came when she overcharged us for our meals. I will NEVER go there again and would NOT recommend this place to anyone! My friend could have ended up in the hospital because they didn't understand what we were saying.
The place itself is small. No handicap accessible entrance, parking was a nightmare, and the service was super slow, and the food was all wrong and was not fresh. Even the food under the heat lamps looked dry. Stay away, run!! The life you may save may be your own!! If you're wondering, I do reviews on every place I visit. This has been the ONLY place that I gave a super bad review to!! Awful!!

Okay atmosphere, that was the only decent thing about it.From the very beginning that we sat down, the staff had a very nasty demeanor.The waitress checked my order with me more than 3 times and still got it all wrong; after waiting for more than 45 minutes for our order my kid didn’t even get the right order.We had to take the order to go at that point after arguing why we shouldn’t get charged for food we did not order… (someone in the staff told me they didn’t have chicken tenders after I showed her multiple times how it is on THEIR MENU)Messed up the whole thing; missing fries, they put tomatoes (highly allergic to them) on my burger and still got charged the full amount.

If I could give it less than one star I would!When we arrived they asked what we wanted? I asked them for the menu and their attitude was very unpleasant as if they didn't expect us to order something from the menu! I proceeded to sit down and ordered my drinks (which I asked more than 3 times to make sure) at this point I said well maybe I wasn't that clear in my order!Then when we told him we were ready to order he left (as if he hadn't heard us) he came back and I told him we are ready to order; We ordered 1 hamburger without tomato (they gave it to us with tomato and without ? because they didn't feel like it, because if they had them) we ordered patacones (banana) with shrimp (the ? were overcooked) we ordered chicken tenders (clearly on the menu it says 2 pieces and ?) well they made 2 orders of chicken nuggets with ? when we told them that that was not what we ordered they got upset saying that it was not on the CHICKEN TENDERS menu when we showed them that it was! Even so, they expected us to pay for something that we CLEARLY did not order, that food was for my daughter who had waited like everyone else (there were 4 of us) for more than 40 minutes.You want some advice, DO NOT go to this restaurant, the service is the WORST and not even those who work there know what's on the menu. I spent more than 60 on food that was not to my liking. And we didn't eat there anymore, we ordered takeout!My money and time wasted in this restaurant!

The chimi was ok had the flavor but the only problem was they served it in a brioche bun it’s souposed to be on a pan de agua nice n toasted

They take a long time and don't get to where they need to go, they lost a customer

NY native here and had been craving a chimi without driving all the way to dyckman. Being that Perth Amboy is a predominantly Dominican neighborhood I had high hopes. The sandwich was $9 and also small. A chimi is usually served on hero bread nice and toasted cut in half. The sandwich was in a brioche bun. The pernil was tender.. could’ve used more seasoning. The sandwich is ok if you don’t know what to expect.

Great service and the chimi was soO good ! I will go back

Best food out here yall , Riquitaqi Chimis is the way to go ???
