The owners are passionate about their establishment and it comes through in aces with regards to their food, drink and service. It's always such a great mix of patrons from the local community and passing through travelers. Live music is a definite plus. We absolutely love El Patio and are glad to be repeat customers.”

People do order out a lot from here but they do manage to get your food in there in time as well. They play music which keeps the atmosphere entertained my only complaint was that it was extremely hot inside and the ac was on. Overall good food. The drinks saved me in the heat.”

“I came here for our first time the restaurant was very clean and the atmosphere was nice The portions were very big the food was fresh and was good The only problem I had was an 18 percent charge on my bill for service.My wife asked if this was the tip and told no it's for service So why in the world would there be a service charge for service!!!! “Best BBq for your buck, seasoning is on point. Only only bad thing is if your dining in, since there is no ac you will be very uncomfortable and sweat while you eat which no one wants. Foods amazing, staff is great, just too hot to dine in the summer. In the spring, fall, and winter it's chill just don't recommend eating there in the summer. Please go thought and get take out.

Parking: There's only a few, about 4 spots to park around the restaurant, if those are taken which usually are you must park blocks down the road.”

The owner was very personable and took time to answer all my questions. It was close to closing time and the shelves were nearly empty which to me is a great sign, people must love it here. I offered to pay but was told to eat my lunch first and deal with the bill later. The place was filled with some old timers who were cracking jokes and enjoying each other's company as Jose Luis Rodriquez played in the background. One of the workers sat by me and ate his lunch. “This is my favorite taco spot in all of Perth Amboy. The Tacos are always LOADED!! the meat is delicious and rich and the ambiance of the place is a whole vibe! I will say that their horchata is a hit or miss. Some data’s it’s thick and rich. Other days like today, it tastes like straight sweet water. Really puts the agua on agua fresca if you know what I mean. That criticism aside though, the establishment is very clean and it’s a well kept store. The service is awesome, prices are reasonable and they have a lot of stuff to offer. I do highly recommend the steak tacos with everything on it (which is what I got) and the chicken flautas! They are amazing. Also, just to answer any questions; today I was on a walk with my dog. I called and they let me in to pay with my dog. So they are dog friendly in my book, but always call to make sure if you are ever walking by with your pet and want to grab a bite.”
