“I was at a local school and walked here for lunch after finding it on Google. The service was impeccable! I ordered the classic Dominican dish, "Tres Golpes" aka Three Hits and was super satisfied. I offered to pay but was told to eat my lunch first and deal with the bill later. I appreciated that. When I saw that the eggs were slightly runny, the young lady gladly took them back and recooked them. The place was filled with some old timers who were cracking jokes and enjoying each other's company as Jose Luis Rodriquez played in the background. One of the workers sat by me and ate his lunch. It was a really cool and laid back, old-school vibe as if I was having a meal in Santo Domingo. I will return again.“

“???????? ?? ??? ??????????? ???????!I had been longing for some pupusas in my home state ever since I had my first one at a famous by Salvadorian Americans pupuseria in Los Angeles. Since learning about El Shaday, it has not only been my favorite place to eat pupusas but also my Salvadorian girlfriend's favorite place to eat pupusas! She claims she prefers the Pupusas here because they are prepared to the point where some chicharron and queso are leaking out and crisping up, as opposed to other Salvadorian restaurants in Central New Jersey. She appreciates the pupusas' greasiness and the plenty of stuffing inside. In addition to their delicious pupusas, I also like their tamales—both the chicken and the elote tamales! My other Salvadorian friend, who is not a local, says their traditional breakfasts are delicious and make him miss his home country.“

“(Translated by Google) Good bar, the beers are always very cold, the girls are very nice. A decent environment. The music is not bad, but it could be better. The clientele for the most part is Dominican and Mexican. Very clean too.(Original)Buen bar, las cervezas siempre están bien frías, las muchachas son muy simpáticas. Un ambiente decente. La música no es mala, pero pudiera ser mejor. La clientela en su mayor parte es dominicana y mexicana. Muy limpio también.“

“I must say that the food is really good, i have been coming here for a few years now and will continue to come, the only thing i don't like is that you can order the same thing every time you come, and the prices are not the same. Overall, the food is always good and i never had an issue with anyone there.“

“As I was getting my car serviced and the wait was 2 hours. My husband and I stumbled upon this hidden gem. Not sure if it would be good, we decided to have lunch there while we wait. It was truly amazing! The food was great and very affordable. The service was great and the people very kind and humble. It gave me the feel that it was a family owned business. I do have to say I look forward to my next car service visit or I just may go to have lunch. Great place!“

“Great food. The pork I had was on another level of good. I wish I knew the name of it. The rice was a bit dry, but we did come in at the end of the day and had the buffet. My wife really enjoyed her chicken stew with noodles. I used the tortillas like it was my job to clean that plate. The tamarind juice makes me want to learn how to make that drink. If I'm in the area, I would definitely go back. It was Labor Day, and they were one of the only spots open.“

“I'm from out of town so I was really excited to try some of the local food spots in this area and this place did not disappoint. There was a bit of a language barrier but the staff was very helpful and offered me a menu in English. I ordered the salmon and I also had the spare ribs to go. Listen..... the food was amazing the drinks are very good. The bartender very beautiful and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for good food. Good music . Overall a great experience. 5 star for sure“

“So I’ve been wanting to try the food from here for a couple years now but since it was a couple towns over I always just stuck with local Spanish spots. Well my favorite spots got shut down and I decided today was the day I’d finally order and it did not disappoint!!! I ordered the following : empanada de carne (beef), rellenos de papa (stuffed potato balls), a dessert guava and cheese empanada, the arroz con gandules (yellow rice and pigeon peas) with pernil (roasted pork) and the trifongo with pernil. This all hit the spot I was hoping it would! Also friendly staff. Whoever took my order over the phone was patient and nice. She told me it would be about an hour and food got here in less than that. Will def be ordering again!“

“We cannot thank Angie and her wonderful staff enough for my sister's bridal shower! Angie and everyone were very attentive to our wants and needs in making this the best bridal shower for my sister Natalie. From the food to the decor, Angie's was the perfect place to host our party.
When arriving, we had very minimal setup to finish on our end, as Angie's decorated perfectly to our taste, so elegant and clean, and cannot thank them enough for even going out of their way to move the display refrigerator out of our space for maximum room.
I could gush all day about the amazing work Angie and her team did, thank you for making Natalie's bridal shower a smash hit and a beautiful memory!“

“One of the best place for fresh bread. Sometimes when you go in at the right time they will put out a rack of fresh bread. Also price point on bread is amazing. Super fresh bread and many varieties also they have good desserts and pastries not too sweet.“
“First off, hats off to the chef. So far I've tried the chaufa de camarones (Shrimp), chaufa de mariscos (mixed seafood),and their Rotisserie Garlic Chicken (I ordered 3 whole birds for a party I had and they were a hit). The food is very good, so far; bordering excellent. The portions on the chaufas were plenty; 2 people could easily share, 3 or 4 if you have something else on the side. We also ordered papas a la huancaina and maduros which were also good and enough to share for 4 people (we were 3 on Sunday). My sis n law had the churrasco which she said was very good. The atmosphere is clean, had about 8 to 10 tables and was welcoming. The only thing that management should watch for was that the prices on the menu were not what we were charged; they were about $2 to $3 more per main dish. The extra charge wasn't a big deal but it is worth mentioning as someone else may not brush it off. We plan on going back to try more of their dishes!“

“Everything there is just so fresh and I can’t get over how juicy and flavorful the pastelillo are. For $1 you’d think you’d be getting a small empty empanada... Nope! They’re big and stuffed with either beef, cheese, chicken (my favorite), egg, pizza etc. honestly the food 5/5, freshness 5/5, atmosphere 5/5, and the price is insanely fair. Only thing I wished is if they had the red country club soda and that’s it.“
