Quite a good small local place, prices can't be beat.

These are really good pupusas but a little dry. The pickled veggies have too much juice but everything is really good still. Good location in amboy.

Another local Google reviewer said it all, his name is Jonathan Arriaga and I agree with his El Shaday review. Specifically to me, the bean and cheese pupusas was salty, the chicharron and cheese pupusa was not to chicharroni (don't expect crunchy chicharron, this is a different use of fried pork) Unfortunately, I will not be doing a revisit. I think $2 for a pupusa in 2023 is a decent price though. That is all.

I ordered online delivery from this restaurant for the first time and was not disappointed.I had Pupusas and Steamed Cassava. The Pupusas were absolutely tasty andThe cassava ( yucca) was tender but it lacked the grilled onions Im used to when having cassava in that fashion. But overall, Good food.

As a Salvadoran in Perth Amboy, this is my go to spot for my pupusa and atol de elote fix. Since my mom moved back to El Salvador to enjoy retirement this place has been the closest I get to my mother's meals she used to cook for me as a kid. The pupusas de revueltas and de loroco are fantastic. Best atol de elote in my opinion. I would suggest anyone who would like to try their pupusas to call ahead to place your orders as they do tend to be a bit busy most of the day so a call in advance saves you from waiting a bit.

???????? ?? ??? ??????????? ???????!I had been longing for some pupusas in my home state ever since I had my first one at a famous by Salvadorian Americans pupuseria in Los Angeles. Since learning about El Shaday, it has not only been my favorite place to eat pupusas but also my Salvadorian girlfriend's favorite place to eat pupusas! She claims she prefers the Pupusas here because they are prepared to the point where some chicharron and queso are leaking out and crisping up, as opposed to other Salvadorian restaurants in Central New Jersey. She appreciates the pupusas' greasiness and the plenty of stuffing inside. In addition to their delicious pupusas, I also like their tamales—both the chicken and the elote tamales! My other Salvadorian friend, who is not a local, says their traditional breakfasts are delicious and make him miss his home country.
