Honestly, I do not recommend going there at all, please do not go. My mom was there with a pancreas problem for an entire night and one day, they did not treat her well, they did not help her go to the bathroom, they said they did not have time. The service was terrible, the nurses were very rude, when we said something to them they would say I'll be right back and they did not come back, there are no doctors, when I arrived and saw my mom like that, I asked why they did not give her medicine or what we could do, there was no information, the nurse told me I do not know anything, I just arrived, you have to give me time, so I asked them to discharge her so I could take her to another hospital and they did not want to discharge her, they did not give me any paperwork about the treatment they were supposedly giving her, they did not want to lend me a wheelchair, and when I took my mom out, they did not help me get her into the car, no nothing, really very bad treatment, very bad service, very bad attention, I do not recommend going there at all, at least my experience there was very unpleasant and frightful.

As someone who works in the medical field this hospital is pathetic. I don’t know where they find there nurses. Probably got hired on EBay. The lack of class , organization, & patient care is concerning. It makes me wonder if someone who was in critical condition would receive the proper care. I came in for severe abdominal pain , I hadn’t ate all day and felt as if I was going to pass out. Before admitting me into the er I was taking to the regular doctor they have. I have private insurance if I thought I needed to see a regular provider I would’ve went to my primary. I sat there shaking and crying until some of the PATIENTS brought it to the attention of staff. I was then transferred into the er where there again I sat for hours. Not to mention in the duration of my long wait there was multiple HIPPA violations. Staff speaking to other staff regarding the patient’s personal health in which they were not assisting the patient this was for pure gossip. I too learned of all the patients issues as it was spoken about so loudly. Towards the end of the 8 hrs I still received no medication, food , or water after projectile vomiting . So I gave up and insisted on leaving , I was then given attitude with a nurse who said “ okay go against medical advice “ . I was a little confused because half of this hospital’s doings is medical malpractice. I would rather drive 45 minutes longer to receive emergency care than to ever step foot in this establishment again. It’s disgraceful & I would hope never to work in a hospital where patient care is the least of peoples concerns.

This hospital is a horrible experience DON'T COME HERE... the majority of these employees are not attending the patients with proper care.. always on there phone's and joking around etc... not giving the patients respect and attending there every need that is needed to give a patient at all time's no excuses.

I went to this hospital because I was pregnant and had really bad pain I was bleeding for 2 weeks straight and they said they didn’t know why but just assumed it was an ectopic pregnancy and got sent home the same night.they sent me home and told me to come back two days after but the pain was so bad I couldn’t wait so i went back the same night and this one lady told me she really couldn’t do anything because it was soon to tell if it was an ectopic pregnancy and all she told me was to take pain killers next day I went to the hospital in Edison and they told me I needed surgery the same night because my fallopian tube had ruptured and I had internal bleeding.

I gave birth at this hospital, I live in town so you hear alot about this hospital but if im being honest, I had such a great experience giving birth here! As a first time mom they explained everything to me in detail, got me upstairs right away after coming in letting them know my water broke. My labor & delivery nurses were amazing & so attentive. All so professional. My after birth team was so good as well, many nurses due to shift changes but they were all very attentive, kept making sure I got what I needed per my doctors requests. Kept checking me and my babys vitals. Food/room service was super good surprisingly lol only uncomfortable thing is the couch bed for the Dad but aside from that, such a great experience. My Doctor, Shonowo did an amazing job delivering my baby & making sure she came out safe. Definitely recommend this hospital based off of my experience.

Dr.Shizdat (Neurologist) was the rudest doctor I’ve ever met. She tried to gaslight me & manipulate me into thinking I was basically confused or couldn’t recall my medical history. As if I walk around with a notebook in my hand of every incident. She needs to learn better bedside etiquette! I truly do not respect doctors like this. We go through enough to have to deal with insensitivity & condescending individuals. Disgusting! Dr.Shizdat Is a Neurologist… she needs to be checked! Oh she was also upset my primary doctor was not from that facility. Lol so she basically said she wouldn’t have treated me. Mind you I came in as an emergency! Terrible woman! Besides that my nurse was absolutely amazing. That is all… thank you.

Awful hospital, staff is rude they don’t care and that hospital is dirty maybe time for a makeover

I haven't been able to contact my boyfriend for days because they have patients answering the phones??

My husband was recently admitted to this hospital, and I have literally nothing but amazing things to say. Everywhere from the ER to SCU to ICU and Social Workers. I am beyond grateful for the incredible care my husband was given.

They violated sons my ( hippa rights act 1996 ) as a patient who was seen there , then switched his medical records to someone else’s , they've changed his documents here at Raritan Bay Medical Center . to appease a company , group & person when will our community see their not helping or being of service to the residents , of our community they’ve gladly collecting our payments also they’re a doing a dis - service to our people out of claims of fraudulent care , of service with misplaced documents also infringing lies on documents stating they forgotten to implement things . this is my 2 copy only to requesting a report from service and it was modified completely , this is unacceptable and will be reported to the highest extent of Law .

I came into the emergency room with serve stomach pain.
The care was awful to begin with in the ER.
A doctor asked me if I inject heroin (this was out of nowhere I have no marks or behavior that would indicate this!)
I was eventually admitted to the special care unit which was just as awful maybe worse. I had my mental health medication brought to the nurse so they could give it to me through there pharmacy. They kept giving me the wrong dose even thought I gave them proof. Then they finally corrected it on the 2nd day I was there and withheld my mental health meds till 9pm. I asked for my mental health meds at 5pm.
I was supposed to be on a clear liquid diet they brought me chicken.
I said I was vegeterain which I have been my whole life. They brought me meat multiple times and not clear liquids they didn't even know I didnt not eat for 4 days because I was sick. They tried to take blood and caused alot of pain multiple times.
It seems like none of the staff know what's going on. They don't communicate with eachother.
They told me a GI would see me that took all day the second day.
Then they told me I'd get scoped couldn't give me a time when that would happen.
The gi was also awful didn't explain anything about the results this was my 3rd day there.
I was brought back up to my room and I asked to be discharged because the results that I finally got weren't serious and I wanted to follow up with my doctor.
It took alot of argument and saying I'd sign myself out for them to discharge me.
If you value your health or mental health don't go to this hospital.
This experience has made me not want to go to any hospital ever again.
They don't care about you just the money.

I am going to say the cliche if I could give them 0 or negative stars I would. Went there today for emergency help. I got in checked in and filled out all of their stuff and answered a few questions to the reception lady. They sat me in a room for three minutes before a doctor showed up. He told me it sounds like I have a pain issue and recommended I go see my primary doctor if the pain persist. I can barely walk or sit and he showed up to tell me less information than what the Google search I did earlier in the morning provided. Highway robbery. Go somewhere else. This was the worst experience ever on all ends.

The Emergency Department was not where I wanted to be but my husband was running a fever and needed to be checked out.
The staff appeared very disorganized and not particularly interested in patient care. I also observed very little hand hygiene or mask wearing.
We expected to be there for several hours but the overall experience was terrible.
